I'm looking to run a game as the crew of a ship in spaaaace! The exact system doesn't matter to me and I am willing to crack open a book or two to find a system that works with the potential GM.

System possibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Star Trek
• Star Wars (any system)
• Travelers (any edition)
• GURPS (any edition)
• Starfinder
• Firefly
• FATE systems (Diaspora, Bulldogs! etc.)

Depending on setting and system I'm looking to run a nefarious pirate crew, scrappy smugglers, a group of bold explorers, rebels looking to overthrow an evil empire or members of an evil empire trying to grapple with the conflict between their duty and their morality.

I've been getting (back) into Star Frontiers recently. The core rules are mostly about boots on the ground, rather than travel via starship, but you've still got medical types, command types, technical types and military types. It's fairly low-tech, but there are still aliens, robots and energy weapons. Would that interest you at all?
