Robert Mitchell:
1. I thought an M4 carbine could have a M203 grenade launcher attached to it?
Yes, but it has a lower effective range and higher felt recoil compared to the full sized weapon.
Robert Mitchell:
2. It might be better to give Fox the M240 as a dismount MG rather than the M60 because of the worn state of the M60.
That's up to Oskar, commander of that section. However, the M240 is one of his "personal" weapons (he brought it to the party on his motorbike).
Originally I had the PKM as the second machinegun, but ammunition commonality is vital, at least as much as we can get it. This is why everyone (excluding Weiss) in the BTR has 5.45 mm or 7.62mmS weapons and I would advise Weiss draw an AK-74 or AK-74U to suplement his M21 sniper rifle in the unlikely event he needs to head out on foot.
Robert Mitchell:
3. 7.62mmN belts:
Ben Jagelis:
"Transfer the M60 over to the M113 along with all the belts the Bradley doesn't need."
There are four 7.62mmN belts in the HUMVEE - I suggest two each for the Bradley and the M113 giving us 6 per vehicle.
That is in addition to the 2130 rounds of belted already loaded aboard the Bradley. Note also that we have a total of 1200 rounds in stores, split between the Bradley, M113 and Humvee all of which should be concentrated with the two MGs (600 each). On reflection, the Bradley already has enough.
Robert Mitchell:
4. Should I add the RPG-7 to Mitch's character sheet and how many rounds has he been given for it?
If it was actually to be carried by him, I'd say yes, but as it's really been assigned to the vehicle instead....
Each RPG-7 has three rounds (what type I don't really know - there's dozens according to Pauls site). If the infantry are aboard, Mitch would be better allowing Oskar to take the shot from the cargo hatch.
Robert Mitchell:
5. Does anyone know the layout of an M113? If Mitch is in the commander/gunner position is he standing or sitting? Also how big is the cupola? Will he have the RPG-7 inside the vehicle to pull out if necessary or should it be strapped on the top, outside of the vehicle?
Quite well actually - I spend plenty of time in the back of them when I was in the army.
The commander has a seat which can be raised or lowered. He may also elect to stand, although this gets a bit tiring after a while.
The cupola is:
The rest of the vehicle can be see here:

I would suggest that the RPG and his personal weapon (an M249 I believe) be secured somehow on the outside of the cupola. Hanging from it's shoulderstrap (for the M249) should be sufficient. Having either of those weapons inside is going to be a big problem if he needs them in a hurry.
