Sure thing. You are at the NW corner of the city, and heading roughly W at the moment.

The escape route was on the W side, further south from your current location.

In reply to Luis Ortega (msg # 971):

I checked back and you are right, the M16 was left behind.

We have a few spare sidearms and also Caleb has a Uzi in his pack if Seeley needs a gun.

Frank also picked up an Uzi and has a mag with 11 rounds in it in the back of the truck with the gear

In reply to Fusilier (msg # 974):

I believe that you're right about the manpack - sorry, I think that it was an error on my part when assigning gear at the start of the mission.

Edit: just to add we do have a long distance radio but that was being carried by Morgan and is presumably in the back of the truck at present.

Thanks.

4g of tobacco for 4 meals doesn't seem like a very good deal to me.  Should it?  The Czechs obviously have access to tobacco already so I'm not surprised but I just wanted to check.  I think that it would be more valuable in Gdansk.

How many "smokes" is 4g of tobacco?  I'm not a smoker in RL but Google tells me that rolling tobacco comes in pouches of 12.5g, 25g and 50g size so I'm guessing that this is more than a couple of cigarettes?

Billy has the manpack from the hotel and a spare battery from the manpack being used by the guy in the wheel house of the boat calling the mortars in on the island.

http://answers.ask.com/health/...es_a_cigarette_weigh

A normal cigarette contains about 0.68g of tobacco. I would say a T2K roll up would be about 0.5g, so you have about 8 smokes worth. Of course, you also need papers or a pipe...

An addicted smoker who was rationing their smokes would probably get through 4g in 2 days I reckon.

Anyone is free to contradict! I haven't smoked rollups since I was a poor student...!

In reply to Luis Ortega (msg # 982):

I'm glad that you caught on that tobacco is more available for them althought the Czechs may be using the Silesian values in terms of their worth. I don't smoke either and had to use an online source. To make it simple I average cigs and pipe amounts and consider 1g to be one 'smoke'. I never considered rolling would use less either. Perhaps instead of grams they should be referred to as 'units' of tobacco.

Four meals of cooked 'real food' plus a container isn't a bad deal.

Hey all. I'm going to be moving and will likely not have reliable coms for a while. I could be out a couple of weeks, or a full 40 days or so.

Turn is half up.

Which weapon was Tim Seeley given by the way? Some were offered, but I didn't see anything certain.

Also, who will drive the Star 266, and who else sits in the cab (I need this for rolls). There's room for a driver and two passengers.

In that case, Caleb will sit in the back! :)

I will give Seeley the Uzi if he wants it. It has 4x32 round mags, plus I have more spare ammo. I think someone else had some Uzi mags so he can get more if he wants. Feel free to remove from my char sheet if you want to.

Frank had the other one with him.  It is with his back and only had 11 rounds left in the mag so, if he wants it, take it.  I was only using it as a throw away anyway.

Re: OOC Thread - 10

Fuse,

A couple of things.

1. I've assumed that Leon has returned Mike's personal radio when we've given them the manpack.  Please let me know if that's wrong.

2. I've also assumed that Roman had forgotten about the two MGs and ammo.  Please let me know if I need to edit my IC post.

3. Ortega has broadcast to the missing Sniper team using the long range radio - please let us know who hears what.

Andy

Re: OOC Thread - 10

1. Yes. Leon will return the radio. I forgot about that.

2. No, he didn't, just me. They expect things to go back as they were, such as with radios, but since the guns were donated to 'the unit' he will be willing to part with one and half the ammo.

3. I need clarification first. In order to use the long range antenna (which is essentially just a long wire) it has to be strug up somewhere high (like over a tall tree branch). This means everytime you want to use it the truck would have to pull over to a suitable spot and rig it up. Is that what you want to do (or just once)?

4. Roman asked IC but no response given yet so I'm not sure. It's up to you guys.

1. Thanks

2. Sounds fair enough and I will amend my IC post accordingly.

3. How long should it take to rig up and how far do we need to travel?  As we're parting as friends with the Selisians we'd have made a first transmission before we left.  Meeting up with the snipers again is very important.

4. What are people's opinions?  I think we would keep Mike's body but does anyone have an entrenching tool or other spade to dig a grave with?

Re: OOC Thread - 10

5-10 minutes I would guess. The main group has to travel a bit more than a n hour, but I can be more accurate on my mobile.

I should also point out that this only assumes the first time isn't all that's needed. If the antenna is set up right (Ferro was the comms person before) then once may be all that's needed$

Fuse,

I've edited my last IC post to reflect items 1 to 3 above and have also added a question to JJM that should resolve how often we're going to stop and transmit.

One thing, please can you give me the details of Mike's radio?

Ok, I've removed the manpack radio taken from GHQ.

Mike's radio was:  SEM 52-S Short Range Hand Radio

Who is taking Mike's radio?

The remaining GPMG/ammo will remain as "unit stores" and considered on board the truck until it's added to someone's inventory.

...going to try to get the 2nd half of the turn up tonight.

Thanks for this.

Ortega has taken Mike's radio as his radio was broken and he needs a replacement.  I'll add it to his sheet if that's ok?  Please note that this means that Billy has his radio back that Ortega borrowed for the mission.

Cymon - I'm taking any mention of Billy's radio off Ortega's sheet now.

Keep the spare battery you picked up earlier though.
