Re: OOC Thread - 10

Please can I check something.  Where is the captured MG3?  Has it been dumped with JJM or next to Ortega and the BTR?

Thanks,

Andy.

Re: OOC Thread - 10

Regarding the MG3, that is a good question.

To prevent duplicate weapons and ammo, can we get a confirmation on who has the gun listed on their sheet (if any). Same goes for the ammo.

Thanks

Re: OOC Thread - 10

Sorry, I'm being dumb - the location of the MG3 was clarified in Billy's last turn and my guess is that it's not listed on anyone's character sheet yet.

Billy 'Crack' O'Brien :
Thomas Marshall:
Marshall unslung the MG-3. "Well…someone take this, I'm sure we'll be needing it." Then unslinging his SMG, he trotted off to the Vehicles to see what kind of shape they were in and what they had in them.

Billy put the extra ammunition they had taken off the French solder into the ammunition tin he is carrying and pocketed the lithium batteries. He then takes the MG and continues his run to the edge of the BTR where he unloads the MG, tripod and ammunition tin next to Ortega and Cooper.

Fusilier:
Turn is up and here is a new map.

CORRECTION - the single man icon left of the words "Main Entrance" is not there. That's a mistake.

What is the distance roughly from the southern trench to the enemy to the south please?

In reply to Luis Ortega (msg # 25):

From Tango's position? About 100 meters, plus or minus.
The trench is a network though, and branches out further south, out of view, so there will be closer entry pointsm

I'm on my phone so it's a guess at this point. Could be a little more. I'll add a scale next time I update the map.

Sorry, just to be clear I'm not disputing the distance - I'm just a little worried because if the enemy start running they might well be on us before the MG3 is set up! <G>

They will still need to advance through the wire, mud, craters, and makeshift abatis that coveres the slope. At the moment only 2 scouts have crossed the road and onto the monastery grounds.

Ok, turn is up. Unfortunately however, we need to add another name to the roster of fallen heroes. As much as I don't like PC death, the game wouldn't be the same without that possibility.

A map will have to wait, but if ya'll are falling back into the monastery it won't matter too much anyways, right?

Does anyone else realize that since our previous positions are being overrun....that we lost all of our packs that were dropped?

Not necessarily true but, a good possibility.

It's quite possible that the enemy have charged passed our packs and missed them when chasing Mike and Jaromir - I don't think that we just left them lying on the street.

We'll see though! <G>

Didn't someone (Billiy I think) booby trap his pack. That should tell us if they found them...

I'm starting to think that carrying a M249 SAW or Minimi is a dangerous thing in this game! <G>

Jagelis, Methuselah, St.Gil, Mitch and now Will were all armed with them...... <G>

Bad luck Will.  Interested to see who you bring in as a replacement.

Good question - I should have mentioned it. Yes, people can still get in. It's still wide enough on both sides, by about 2 meters.

Now i know why no one wanted to carry my linked ammo or stand too close to me.

I'll assume that JJM is using his radio because I don't think Per is close enough to hear him otherwise. To clarify, does the major want Per inside the entrace covering it (from the inside) or does he want him to position himself near the entrance and hold off the attacking force?
