In reply to Fusilier (msg # 40):

Yeah...I might have to make another character myself if this DEMO attempt with Caleb goes awry :D

Considering our combined skill level is only 1 it should be interesting!

Hmmm... I just did the roll for Caleb's attempt at explosives and he just got himself and most of the Mad Dogs blown up.

Just kidding, but thanks for everyone getting their turn in. Post up later tonight.

Just so you know I'm away for a long weekend and might not be able to post IC until Tuesday.  Sorry if this causes any problems.

No problem, but it would make it a little easier if you just had Ortega withdraw to the passageway then. I'd prefer not to NPC PCs in a firefight in case they get hit bad.

I'll see what I can sort out re access as I think that we need to engage for at least this round before we can start to withdraw.

Sorry to mess you around.

Turn is up.

The known survivors of the French team are:

- Captain Beloq. Dressed in a French Army uniform but without any kevlar or insignia. He has no webbing either, but has a holstered pistol attached to his belt. Speaks English.

- Beloq's signaler. Full kevlar and webbing. Armed with a FAMAS and carrying a manpack radio.

- Unnamed British Legionnaire NCO. Kevlar and webbing, but no helmet. Armed with a FAMAS with an underbarrel light attachment and carries a small tac radio. Muscular with plenty of tattoos. Speaks English

- Légionnaire Savané. Full kevlar and webbing. Armed with a FAMAS. His helmet has a NOD attached. Likely from West Africa. Speaks English.

- Unnamed wounded Legionnaire. Dressed in his uniform only, unarmed, and wounded in the abdomen and right leg.

- Unnamed French Engineer. Kevlar and webbing. Armed with a FAMAS. Carries a small tac radio. Speaks some German.

- Unnamed sniper/sharpshooter. Full kevlar and webbing. Armed with a scoped M16. Positioned outside on the wall. Speaks English.

Jan is in the trench (with Cooper) that is next to the BTR-70 (manned by Billy). You'll need a radio to communicate with him.

It's a joke. Jan lives in my game, but he's FFL and was originally sent to Poland to recover the BM.

Shush!  Some people in your game haven't realised that about Jan! <G>  Even though he's got a half completed forgery of the BM in his backpack!

Might be my last post until Tuesday or Wednesday depending on how this storm hits in New Jersey.  I may very well be stuck at work too so NPC as needed until then.

Had to move from home base to Base Camp Mom for a couple of days.  No electricity = No Heat and it is chilly after this storm.  Will try to catch up shortly just letting people know all is well and good for the time being.  Please continue to NPC as needed.

Re: OOC Thread - 10

Mike couldn't understand all of what was said, but he's pieced it together that the French security team has been ambushed or hit, somewhere out on the "airport road". Additional translations between Beloq, the signaler, and the British NCO, are as follows, and ??? indicates the ones that Mike isn't sure about.

- "Arsène is down." - ???

- "Cerny says that they are unable to break through and are withdrawing under pressure back to the airfield to try to hold it.""

- "Air support has been requested. Low cloud cover is a problem."

- "Suggest an exchange for release." - ???

- "Shit. Yesterday was the choice for house." - ???

Re: OOC Thread - 10

Where is Ortega in game at the moment?

More choices to make. Here's what I see, feel free to chip in with other options:

1) Hold here and let the French search for the Madonna and play out an Alamo siege (hopefully without the dying horribly finale)

2) Leave a small rearguard and go for the Madonna as well

3) Let the French know about the other entrance we found, all go into the hole and blow the passage behind us, then we all search for the Ark of the Covenant, sorry, the Madonna with the big boobies

4) The "Per" option: mount a bayonet charge on the enemy

Any other options will be gratefully received as well as feedback on what orders you want JJ to give next.

It sounds to me like the attackers are working on the assumption that we can't get away so we setting up a perimeter at present.  That probably means that they'll find our packs for certain now even if they missed them before (Fuse - I think that Billy set a booby trap on his pack - did that go off?).

I therefore think that option 2 sounds like it might be the most fun - leave a rearguard and then go searching underground.

What do others think though?

Fuse - just so you know even though Ortega has left the RPG-16 in the monastery I'm still accounting for it on his character sheet.
