Who isn't wounded that can set up a perimeter and keep security on the prisoners?

Frank, Billy, Lines, Sobczak, Kallus, Nowak J, Nowak M, would seem to be first picks at perimeter duty.

Cooper is watching the prisoner.

The reason I ask Fuse is from Ortega's last post:

Luis Ortega:
After speaking to Caleb he then gathered up a number of other troops.  "Sobczak, take Kallus and both Nowaks and do a quiet patrol around the area.  Frank, organise a second patrol with Billy, Tosh and Coop.  You're to be ready to support Sobczak if they encounter a problem.  Everyone else set up a defensive perimeter.  I'll be checking everyone shortly but Frank will sort out the initial placements."

Doesn't seem to be anyone left... unless drivers are going to get put on the line (not advisable).

Ortega might be a little confused right now and it's probably worth bringing up IC. <G>

I was thinking of sending the original patrol out that Ortega wanted and keep frank and two others ready to mobilize if needed.  Frank would also have the security at the vehicles, drivers would stay put.

Turn is up. I'm not sure if I understood the Main Group's intentions properly with the security plan and all, but I moved things in the direction that would help keep you on track with your official mission (to hand over the Markgraf).

If this exchange goes smoothly, you just need to do the following afterward...

1) go your separate ways from the Silesian Rangers (who get's which vehicle?)

2) meetup with Simon D'Arcy (Vincent Wright's operative) who should have the Black Madonna by now

3) RV at the field where the plane is to pick you up.

In reply to Fusilier (msg # 962):

Fuse, one minor thing.  Mike currently doesn't have his radio on him as it was lent to Leon for this mission and Ortega's plan before we separate with the Silesian Rangers is for Ortega to recover it to use himself.  That will allow Ortega to return the radio he's borrowed from Billy and still be on the radio net.  Once Ortega's own radio gets fixed we will then have a spare to assign.

Am I driving to the border meet? Or to the landing site? Or is this something I should ask IC?

Johnny Leota:
OOC - a couple of questions:

Does the sniper team have a radio powerful enough to make contact with the rest of the Mad Dogs?
Are we going to the main RV or straight to the landing strip?
Do we have our packs with us in the Toyota, or are they in the other trucks?

1. No, tactical radios won't cut it. A quick looks show that most tac radios that you are carrying have max ranges of 2-3 km - so manpacks are going needed for comms between the two groups.

2. I need to know this as well.

3. No, I believe all packs are in the Star 266. There wasn't room in the Toyota or Tarpan-Honker.

I figured as much. It just made sense for me RP-wise to post giving it a try.

Re: OOC Thread - 10

In reply to Luis Ortega (msg # 967):

Yes of course. The main group went SW of Raciborz lengthening the distance between them and the Snipers - but the LZ is N of Raciborz so they need to turn around and drive back that way and past the city again.

Eseentially what needs to be decided is will the snipers wait and hope the main group drives past again and get a radio link, or do they not wait and instead head north now and wait for them at the LZ.

Did Fox not have a man pack radio?

I checked back and you are right, the M16 was left behind.

We have a few spare sidearms and also Caleb has a Uzi in his pack if Seeley needs a gun.

Re: OOC Thread - 10

I thought you might have been correct that Fox had a manpack, but after checking it doesn't seem to be. His sheet only lists his Clansman* and the IC and OOC only mentions him taking a shotgun and turning over the RPG that he was carrying when you guys had split up. I don't believe he was issued both an RPG and manpack (together) when you left Gdansk so if there was a time for a trade it would have been then.

*actually Simon D'Arcy has it right now
