I'll be away from Sunday until Thursday this coming week so not sure how much  - if any - time I'll have to post until I'm back.

Re: OOC Thread - 14

To clarify, Frank & Billy are off the Krok (near/next to each other) and Varis is behind them?  How far and is there any sort of cover?

Yes, 50m between you two and Varis (behind). Just the field really.

I'm not trying to bore anyone, but I don't want to create a firefight just for the sake of it... not when other things are happening that you may not be aware of. I apologize if you feel like I'm leading you on and nothing's happening. It'll come, one way or another.

Slight. He has all mobility except running, kneeling is painful, and there is the standard loss of initiative.

I don't have it in my notes or die roller that valid med-aid was attempted. If it was (Riedel?) please correct me. If none was given, it won't be long before he starts to feel light headed and weakened.

In reply to Fusilier (msg # 20):

Msg 478 is the one where Riedel references treating all four wounded - Lines and Fischer aren't mentioned by name but the intent was always that the less seriously wounded got treated after Little was stabilised. Am on my phone so awkward to copy and paste but the last paragraph specifically refers.

Kessler's post is intentionally vague in terms of a specific plan - Mark's got more detail to come later.

Re: OOC Thread - 14

Is this roughly the plan?

1) Krokodil (Blue) goes around Bogatka and then makes flanking move on enemy hamlet.

2) Krankenwagon (Green) goes through village to gap just before the irrigation ditch. Note, many of those trees may be gone.

3) Humvee (Yellow) moves up to be on the right of the Krankenwagon.

Mad Dog squad assigned to Krok.
Militia Assault guys assigned to Krank.
Militia Rifle guys assigned to Humvee.

Re: OOC Thread - 14

Turn is up. I've timed it to give Krankenwagon/Humvee guys a turn at firing as part of their support role, while the Krok spends a turn maneuvering and dismounting (if that's your decision). Observing from moving vehicle (even when topside) is a difficult task and is reflected in the rolls... in which there really isn't much detail on the enemy at this point.

Also as a reminder, it's helpful and potentially advantageous to state your PC's stance (prone, kneeling, or standing). This can affect observation as well as fighting rolls.

Updated Map...

Fuse, when you get a chance, will you post a screen shot of the map here? Even though I'm at home, my work filter is not letting me access Google Maps through my Google account. It's aggravating but I don't know how to get around it. Thanks.

Map link: https://www.google.com/maps/d/...0BdJJf_TUIyZ9b7yYU9Y

Three houses marked with thicker borders. It was a little difficult to mark and illustrate the various bits of cover in the yards, so players can use a bit of free imagination here. As long as it fits with the narrative (I mentioned various types of cover here and there), it's fine.

For more detail, consult the linked map if possible.

My internet's down at home and I can't post from work. I'm on my phone now. I'll try to post IC but if I can't, Varis will fire a couple of suppressive bursts at the upstairs windows before sprinting to join the assault team.

Hey,

I know you're all waiting on me, but I'm going to have to wait until tomorrow to get things moving. Last couple days I've been out the door at 630am and not home until after 10pm. I've got a free day tomorrow though. Sorry about the delay.

Re: OOC Thread - 14

Fusilier:
* To clarify, once in the hallway you have three options, from closest to furthest:
1) Go in the hall and immediately take a staircase up to the next floor.
2) Go in the hall, go past the stairs, and then take an open doorway that leads into a kitchen facing south.
3) Go into the hall, go past the stairs, go past the kitchen entry, and then into an entry that leads into another south facing room. This room is also where the front door may be located.

Let me know if any one has any preferences / opinions on which option to take. My initial thought was to have Kessler and Ferro frag / clear the kitchen whilst Benucci / O’Brien / Babicevs clear the upstairs but I’m open to any other suggestions.

Cork, do you mean that we should all clear up, or are you agreeing with Dave. I'm worried that if we all clear up, someone from downstairs might shoot us in the back.

How about a couple of us cover the stairs while the others clear the downstairs. Then, we all clear the upstairs? Or, I'm ok with Dave's plan too since it's a bit quicker.

In reply to Varis Babicevs (msg # 37):

I’m good with that if you prefer. If we do that I’d suggest two cover the stairs, two clear downstairs, and the fifth goes back outside to check on Tosh (preferably someone with at least some medical skill!)

Whatever option we go for I’ll also have Kessler bring the Krok in a bit closer so that it can hopefully put some fire onto the third house and we can get Tosh into it if necessary / practical.
