The Judge closed the previous OOC forum and opened this one.

First, an apology. The Judge made a mistake in the draw -- one that couldn't be overlooked as it could easily have changed the order for the next character to act (the woman labeled 'S').

That character has the Hesitant Hindrance and should have drawn two cards (using the lowest). After seeing Tommy's post, the Judge was about to have 'S' do an action when I realized the mistake.

Looking at the draw, 'S' would have gotten the Joker dealt to the Sharpshooter, if the Judge hadn't made this mistake -- that would have been her 2nd card. "Oh well, not redoing that," I thought. "Just pull another card and if 'S' gets lower, adjust the rest of the turn order."

Then, the Judge drew the 2nd Joker. No fooling. I trust you'll believe this tale, as tall as it might seem.

Tommy snuck in his interruption just in time. The Judge is fixing to post soon.

The Judge is walking through everything carefully while making die rolls and considering everything going on. You'll see some new die rolls (no longer secret) and will see the secret rolls made the other night before Tommy made rolls.

There's a lot to consider, so going slowly and double-checking things. Stay tuned.

Just in case this might have been overlooked in the long #310, calling out here.

The Judge gave one Benny in msg #264 and gave a second in msg # 308 of Ch26 (both after the first battle with the 5 newcomers).

Probably obvious, but the Judge is pausing to get Tracy's decision re: msg # 330 in Ch26.

The Barbarian and 'S' go next to finish out the round after that.

Forgot to say I love the 'Rifleman' edge. Watched that show (in reruns) when I was a kid.

If this was meant to bring to mind the way Chuck Conners fires that rifle in the opening credits I'd say it's perfect!

Just the word "rifleman" brings the image of Conners to mind, for me.

The Judge started a new round and did two nonplayer actions. It's Tracy's turn, and Tommy would go next, unless he chooses to take the lower card (to gain the benefits of Calculating). Tough choice here, but the Judge needs Tommy to make the choice as soon as possible. Tracy can take his turn, but then we'll need Tommy's decision.

Tommy will go on Hold tomorrow morning.

So, the Judge decided to wait a little longer. Tommy RL is on vacation -- he's been good about keeping up with posts even while away from home, so I'd like to give a little more time. Plus, the next person to act is an opponent, so would prefer to give a player the chance to go first in such a round.

If I don't hear from Tommy overnight, he will go on Hold tomorrow (no foolin' this time).

FYI: I had finger surgery earlier this week and it's gotten infected so I have to go in the hospital for a day (or two) for an IV antibiotic. Posting might be very limited, but I'll do what I can with the phone app!
