Another question of concern from a fellow player is:
quote:
Is there a way to track our damage taken like hp? Or will the proctor know? I feel like either individual will always want to do a double backflip and attack again
quote:
Before we start I still would like to know how long we can last at one point are we injured etc? In terms of naruto most evenly matched people bounce back indefinitely until a decisive final blow, and then they get back up and use their other final blow back and forth etc so it is hard to nail down in terms of mechanics who is doing well.
To answer honestly, nobody has an "HP" bar of some sort. But perhaps I need to implement one. But if I do that, that would mean jutsus need to have damage/attack numbers and then people need defense numbers and the list goes on, making it more complicated.
Nobody was able to see the ending of the sparring with the example battle I presented. That battle was put to an end on the players' decision because one player got stunk in a situation she couldn't get out of.
For these battles, I want to put the decision up to you, the characters/players. If your character gets stuck in a weird tangle, then yes, that probably will put the battle to an end. However, if people are not comfortable with this, I can implement HP for everyone and disregard defense and attack values ect. Doing so means your stamina would come into play because Stamina is vital with for your overall character's conditioning and being able to cast many jutsus in a short time. I leave it up to the players to give a vote I suppose.
