Semi-Final Match: Akitoki VS Yamada
Nori listened quietly as she heard Sima explain the rules to them of the match. Despite him saying that it was going to be life or death, she had no intention of killing Sigmund if it came down to it. She wouldn't kill anyone just to simply win a match like this. "I appreciate the offer, Sigmund, but you aren't fully recovered from your last fight yet, are you? Better be careful or else you may bleed out from that wound of yours," she told her teammate. She wasn't oblivious to the wounds that Sigmund had been inflicted with from his last fight. She had carefully assessed him when he first came into the infirmary. His body hadn't been able to fully recover, but then again, neither did she. She knew she had to be careful with this leg of her's and keep off of it as much as possible. She would have to rely mainly on the one leg with the most strength in this fight, but it wasn't impossible. Nori doubted that despite her teammate not having fully recovered that he was going to let that slow him down.
There were many different factors that were going to go into this fight. One being that both of them had injuries that could potentially risk this match for either of them. Perhaps that was an advantage for both of them. She knew it would be for Sigmund seeing as how he made it clear that he wasn't going to take it easy on her despite her injury. That was fine with her. Fractured bones and cuts would heal, but the inner wounds wouldn't. Nori knew what she had to do. Sigmund was great at fighting. That was a fact for sure. However, she knew she had advantages over him, too, in certain areas. Knowing him for a long time and knowing what he could do was in somewhat of an advantage for her, but the same could be said of him. He knew what she could do. What moves she had, but he didn't know everything and that was where she would surprise him. Nori closed her eyes briefly, letting her body slide into its natural fighting position. She could hear the chanting, the hollering, and the sound of Sima telling them to begin. This was it. Her hands slowly slid down her hips and to the kunai secured in their sheaths behind her back. Once her fingers touched the handles, her eyelids opened and stared at Sigmund with a fierce look of determination in her eyes.
