Chapter 2.9: Showdown
Sima was surprised to see Kotatsu standing there before them. He was prepared to attack and those dark whisps that emitted off of the boy wasn't a good sign. With the threat of wanting to kill Sigmund was heard loud and clear, Sima had to step in. "The final match hasn't started yet. Wait your turn, genin. Know your place," he strictly said, placing a hand on Kotatsu's shoulder with a bit of a grip. This guy was bad news and there was no telling what this kid could do. "Sigmund needs rest. You'll fight him tomorrow," he added. He felt something. A disturbance in the air. Something was going to happen. Something bad.
Next thing he knew, Kotatsu barked at him that nobody touches him, and his hand was grabbed with such a grip and then he was thrown to the stadium walls. Kotatsu had believed that was the last of Sima, however he couldn't have been more wrong. When Sima was flown to the walls, a puff of white smoke had triggered and Sima was no longer there. He was prepared for the attack, which allowed him to perform a clone jutsu at the last minute as he was thrown.
He had reappeared within the stands, when all hell broke lose. Kotatsu had performed a special clone jutsu, summoning more than a hundred Kotatsu clones all across. Citizens screamed for their dear life, children were crying, and everyone was rushing to escape. Then suddenly, a man in a black cloak had summoned a rather unusual jutsu, entrapping all the kages, the most powerful beings from the great five shinobi lands. At the last minute, Sima, and 4 other Jonin leaders had rushed into the black vortex just before it was sealed away. All they could see was pure darkness. The kages had already been tied down and heavily guarded by clones of the mysterious man, more likely the same jutsu Kotatsu cast.
The man had killed the Daimyo from the Land of Snow and had planned to decapitate the other 5 kages, until Sima stepped in, drawing attention. The cries from the stands are what motivated him to hurry up and execute this last minute rescue mission. The sky was dark and awfully very grey. It wasn't looking good in the slightest. Him and the 4 outher Jonin leaders were going to have to work together to save the kages before it was too late. "You're not going to get away with this, I hope you know that," he told the man, whether it was the real man or not, was to be unknown. However Sima was going to do whatever it took to save the kages, even if his life depended on it.
