Mialee:
Mialee steps forward and summons her eagle to be amidst her allies and in front of an enemy. She then points what looks like a miniature totem pole, sized about the same as a scepter, and utters something in elven.
For those who speak elven; <Elven>"Ancient Bear spirit, fill my allies with your strength to endure!"</Elven>
A spirit bear appears, swipes at the kobold, and is just as quickly gone. But Mialee's allies feel a bit tougher now.
Kevin stood in awe at the Druid's work, in wonder at the grace and power she held. And at the Elvish word she intoned. What drew him to her so?
Chekin:
Speaking of which, he dispatches the Kobold behind him with a fancy backhand to the throat, as he punches the one in front of him right in his lizardy nose... Then this impressive display is completely sidelined as he misses an attempt to grab the still standing kobold he almost falls on his face (Good thing 4th ed has no horrific "optional" crit fail rules).
Kevin winces as Chekin almost facefaults. In one moment he's grateful that crit fail rules are not invoked. The next moment, he wondered why that thought came to his head.
Narrator:
The skirmisher doesn't any better against Chekin, stabbing ineffectively at the fighter. The slinger shrieks, slings a glue pot at Mits, and retreats. The glue pot hits a vital part of her feet, gluing her to the ground!
"My achilles!" Mittens hollers in pain, "My only weakness! Just kidding."
"I got you," Kevin said as he places his hands on Mitten's shoulders. He sends out his Healing powers to the injured cat.
Before he tries to help pull Mittens out of the glue, he hurls an Asral Seal to the Kobold near Lazerface, again going wide. He sighs, and resumes pulling Mittens out of the glue.
Second Healing Word for the Encounter: 17 Points of Healing to Mittens.
Miss on Astral Seal.
