Tethia, bound to Tageru's bed, slept soundly despite all her stubborn efforts not to. Her wounds are just too great for her body not to need it. Nonetheless, when she does wake, her beautiful face is perpetually grim, as if she has quietly resolved to endure her imprisonment until the end. Her true feelings, whether rage or resignation, she keeps stoically to herself.

Tageru wakes to find Tethia glaring expectantly his way from her restrained position on the bed.

"Good morning, Tethia. Are you feeling a bit better? Any wounds that itch more than usual? Or any that opened again if you struggled against your bonds? Please, tell me if there are, because that can be a sign of infection, and it could prolong your recovery time." He comes to her and takes a good look at all of her wounds, and cleans them with alcohol. "Don't be like that, this is for your own good.", he tells her when she frowns. He unlocks her wrists so she can sit up and brings her a pot of water to wash her face. "I really hope I don't have to keep you locked all the time. I will bring you something to eat now, and we can talk. The others are busy with some underwater acrobatics, so I have a lot of time on my hands right now." He locks her again and goes out and brings some food for him and her.

"I hope so too," Tethia says a little testily in response to being "locked up all the time". She doesn't so much as flinch at the cleaning, though she grits her teeth now and then. Tageru can confirm her wounds are not infected, though she did bleed through the night.

"Anyway, I'm fine. Fine as I can be chained and bedridden with arrow wounds," she grumps, sighing with relief as she washes her face. "I still stink like a fish, but I think I'd rather stink than let you wash me, ex-monk."

The Water Aspect raises an eyebrow at the mention of underwater activities. "You're going for the Chrysalis now too, eh? Good for you."

"Haha!" Tageru sincerely laughs at the washing bit... "Trust me, there is NOTHING you could possibly be ashamed of in front of me. I am a Cynis, after all, and I wasn't raised at the Cloister, I grew up surrounded by all those things the stories tell about-and more. But, if you feel uncomfortable, I could arrange it for you to take a bath without me present. But I thought the people here in the West were not as conservative as in the other parts of the world when it came to nudity.", he gives her a glance with the slightest hint of a joke in it, and watches her blush. "Alright, I'll get you some water and a tub, but if this is an excuse to try to escape, it will end badly... Wait here..."

Tageru exits and indeed brings her a large wooden tub and fills it with seawater. He unlocks her chains and helps her up out of the bed and says "I'll give you ten minutes. It's enough to wash yourself and make yourself decent again. Please, don't try anything suspicious. We'll talk afterwards."

He leaves the room and waits for about ten minutes before knocking at the door and entering. "Are you decent? Sit down on the bed, please. I'm coming in. If you jump me and try to attack me, I'll be very disappointed...", he says as he shoves the door slowly open...
