Re: Bowshot

What the  nine  hells  is going on here? the older  of  the Watch pair  comes  over, his  shortsword  out. the younger one  has  drawn  a hand Crossbow.  The Ironmound  regular is armed  with  a pike.

This...this  ...Man...barreled into  to me I was  trying to pick out  some good  apples  for pie tonight..  she  shrugs  off Justin's  help, whacking at him a  few times  with her...now  empty..basket.

Kree stands  next to the  Ironmound  guard, a slight grin on his  face.

Re: Bowshot

Many pardons Fair Damsel he continues apologetically, looking from the woman to the guards and back again Tis a simple case of a clumsy oaf not watching his meandering he attempts to explain to the guard from his position on the ground Milady do allow me to assist Thee he offers when she has regained her feet he'll attempt to rise, unless the guards have something to say about it

Still following the girl, he considers calling out, but decides its for the best not to. He wishes for a moment he knew the town better, but continues to follow, at least trying to get a better glimpse of her face.

Merik is now headed to the North and west going  down one  of  the tidy streets..far down the street he sees  folks  walking about   going towards thierdestinations...it seems he was lucky?...for as he  was about to give up, he  sees a lithe, letherclad person step out  from  the side of the building, sprinting  a very good speed to the west Corner of  the  town....from  where he is at, he can see a few Inns Lit up as the  darkness grows  a bit more.

Re: Bowshot

Merik continues at a bit of a slower pace, hoping to be more thorough in the search for the girl. If an inn is where she plans on going then she hopes to hide in plain sight he guesses.

(ooc not likely, Your in a fortified town with guards and lots of people. trying to get a look at some one and rushing out into the woods alone are much different things. Merik has all along been willing to draw up short, but the true danger has not appeared so he is still willing to pursue.)

Re: Bowshot

For  Merik:....he  looks at the  Shingle outside the Inn she  entered. TOL'S  Tavern..it  says. There is  some  singing going on in there as if a BArd is trying to get the locals  to sing along  with him.

at the  end  of the street He  can see a shingle that looks  like a huge Bear Claw hanging  from the last  building on the street.

 ..........................................

Kree  and the others  round  the  corner
, Looking  for  thier  comrade. The  elf's  smile is fading as they try to find him in the  narrow , crowded steets , as  more  and  more folks head to get  'an end  of the day' drink

Re: Bowshot

Rolf turns the corner and his frown deepens as he sees the press of others about.  He would rather leave the city and spend the night in peace outside the walls then feel the press of others upon him.  He hitches up his sword belt, "If we're staying the night then let us face the worst."  He boldly steps forward.

Merik sees there is  two main "saloon stlye  doors, there are two larger '
winterdoors' propped open....from the light in the back, near the  alley and Palisades..Merik assumes  a back door  as well. There  are big windows in the front, and several windows  on the  second  and third  floor...he does notwe...on the roof is a  fellow walking with a longbow shouldered

On the porch of Tol's are several benches  and a couple  chairs...the chairs have  three people in them, playing a card game on a barrel...the benches  are empty as two people stand  and  watch the card game.

Merik mills around and eventually stops over by the card game. Not knowing and an ace from a three, he watches with keen interest, but keeps looking up and about at random times.

Re: Bowshot

When the group enters  the Inn, they note most folks here  are either woodsmen, adventure  folk, or off duty Bowshot Miltia...there is also an odd local or two trown in.

there is  a long  table near the  righthand  corner of the  Building. The  Hearth is on the the wall up from that..the stairs up to the upstairs  rooms are at the end of that wall...the Bar  and Kitchen are on the next wall, and more  tables  and  such are along  the  left hand  wall..the center of the room  has  many, smaller  round  tables, most are full or half  full......

Re: Bowshot

Rolf eyes the place, not sure he likes the look of the place.  With a shrug to the others, he moves towards the long table.  It would be quite to his liking to quit the inn, the town, and get into the country side.  He was half a mind to strike out on his own and do just that.

Kree  leans  abit closer to them, his eyes  never leaving the crowd,saddly...in  our  line  of work, places  like this become a burden to bear, It  will be worse if  we ever  have to go to Olant...it is near as dark a place  as teh City of Harte itself.

The server  grils  run the gambit  of young girls, to older woman...they all try to smile as the work, but its plain to see the  day has  taken a toll on them.

An older  Blonde  woman smiles  as best she is able, what can i get you fellas?
