Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

Continuing to lead the arrows uphill Myranda pauses at a checkpoint and scans the passage ahead, sweeping it with her bow as she waits for Lucy to leapfrog past advancing from one checkpoint to the next.

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

Sir Luthien was at his usual spot, though he hurried forward. Rescuing a princess was SUCH a classical Knight's quest that he couldn't help but feel excited by it.

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

Rolf moves ahead with the stealth of the cat folk whom he so richly despises.  He was less at ease than usual, not that he gave any hint of that, since he wasn't at the flank.  He never liked to have eyes behind him.

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

Myranda paused glancing back at the clanking that was coming from behind her; signalling the two humans not to press the advance, and if they chose to continue this they were welcome to scout ahead.

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

Luthien realized where his skills were not, and slowed his advance. His place was NOT with scouting, no matter how excited he was.

In reply to Luthien (msg # 6):

Noting the Knights reaction Myranda gave the handsome fellow a nod and warm smile of gratitude. Turning back to watch the passage ahead When Lucy was in place to cover her she'd move forward as they had been

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

Lucy moved forward, with all the stealth she could muster.  She paused and listened every 10 feet.  She concentrated on any sounds that might be out of place.  she tried to separate each sound.

She moved along the wall, getting as close as she dared to where the sounds came from.

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

Justin grinned as Luthien retraced his steps joining him a sufficient distance away from the Elven Scouts, to allow them to scout ahead while being close enough to render any assistance if needed.

In reply to Lucy (msg # 8):

Once Lucy had taken up her watch point Myranda moved forward quietly, paralleling her fellow scout and pausing to scan the area ahead for several seconds. Giving Lucy a nod she moved forward, mirroring the mode of advance Lucy was using of advancing in 10’ segments.

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

As those who are scouting, move  ahead, they find it Drier and brighter, as Torches are set closer together,

The see an empty Table  with 2 chairs about 90 feet up the  passage, the passage  takes  a gentle  turn to the west as it rises. The table has a Bottle of wine  and 2 tin cups sitting on it, there is a deck of  cards laying there as well. No sign of guards.

When they pass the table, The can see, to the northwest, a Large Door straight ahead, but on the far side of the 3 way intersection...the righthand Passage goes upwards, to the NoethEAst , the left passage  goes  downwards, to the South west...there are  sounds  Coming from the Door, even heard from this distance ( 60 feet)..it sounds  Like  laughter, , gruff voices and clanking of untensils.

Re: Cat Hunt  ( 3)

ooc since you lot appear to be the reclusive introverts.

Reluctant to leave possible assailants behind Myranda considers the situation. Kree indicated speed was of essence so she moved past the door and headed up the righthand passage. Keeping an eye on the door as she did.
