Riku got up from her perch and gracefully covered the distance to Baku.  "What has you out this far?" She said with nerves of steel confidence.

Baku looks to Riku and smiles, "Ahoy and goodday, I'm on my way to meet up with a group. I believe you would call them mercenaries, the Crimson Arrows. I am heading to find the Furmain's Chain."

She flashed a cheery smile back and displayed the crimson gem in her hair.
"Aye, I know a thing or two about 'em, bein I am one."

She adjusted herself and looked at him.

"Are you heading to Alt River?" She asked curiously.

Baku pulled out the roughly draw map, "Not right sure, heading for Olant, that on Alt River?"

She gave him a wink.  Yes, she said.  Keep heading up towards Olant and you'll find Alt River.  Keep heading northwards and you'll find our Cap'n Kree and his troupe. I can fly onwards to let him know of yer arrival.

What be yer name, fella? she asked.

Balu smiled, "Thank ye fer that one, names Baku Badeson, you can call me Red but you can let him know I'm coming. Till than I'll continue to head up the river and try to catch up. With that Baku waves and sets himself to pushing ever onward.

Riku gave a nod and fluttered up into the sky.

Baku smiled at how nice it was to have allies again, he worked furiously at trying to make his skiff run faster, he wanted to meet up with them as soon as he could.

As Baku came down the River..he saw a small 'privateer' type warship..smaller  and Faster the the Big sea Going warship, but it lay at Anchor. some crew men were fishing  of the side rails..

 the Lookout in the crows  Nest was shouting down tot eh deck..a few crew moved to the stern  with crossbows....

Baku was unsure of this ship, seeing the men ready their crossbows he fears for his life. He trues to keep his boat as far away from the privateers as he can while still moving. He pulls out his sling and readies a shot just in case he has to return fire.

  The Ship stands  to, letting  its  achor stay down, But  6 or so crewman have Crossbow laoded as they watch the Skiff say  passed....

Baku just keeps sailing, hoping not to attract their fire. As he passes he wipes the sweat from his brow with the back of his hand which still holds the sling, he seems to have been okay. At least he hopes so.

  The Dwarf looks  at his map,  drifting about a Mile past the ship, he comes to a large bend in the River...he figures, a few says..maybe 2?..travel down river   to where Olant should be,  the mouth of the Alt river  empties into the Storm to the north.

Baku wonders, with this long a trip will he make it with anchoring himself, he has nobody wlse to take the sail as he would sleep. For now he decides to push himself, when it fets pitch black he'll stop, not before.

Baku continues North into the Alt River, or at least he starts to move his boat in that direction. But he stops, That ship of Privateers, they wouldn't be the ship I'm looking fir would they? Didn't the flying girl say they weren't at the Alt River yet? He stops and thinks before turning back and heads to the ship which he had passed by a mile before. He was getting tired at this point but when he caught sight of the ship he called out, "Arrows of Red!"

 In the Growing  Darkenss he can hear footsteps on the ship, voices carry over the   water, but  he  can't understand it...he  is  an Outline of a few Men with weapons, and a figure with an odd shaped  hat calls  ,out...ARROWS OF MIGHT!

Baku smiled, he was glad he came back, he found them. "Ahoy there, I'm here to help Kree , Reedrick sent me."

  The Captain looked over the rails, it wasn't near as high as the Big warships, bring you boat along side... we had to come up rivber a bit more, there is alot of  slaver ships pulling in and out of Olant

Do you have orders?

Baku pulls his boat up to the ship, "Orders are to assist any way I can, nothing else. He holds out his hand to be helped on board.

 The Captain looked around,..so..where you going to sail Up the Alt? or were you going  down to Olant?

 The crew that were on deck watched and waited.

Baku looked puzzled, "I was going to sail up the Alt, that was the right way correct? It leads to Olant.

 The Captain  take his  Map, one of the crewman hold a lantern near them.

 we are here....about  2 of these blocks   east of the Mouth of the Alt...that's  this   blue line . that goes  North.

 ...if you wish to go west, around that bend? You'll travel a couple days to Olant.....

Baku looked perplexed, "Ah so do you know the way Captain Quicksilver went? I would like it was west in the case of what you said.

..Well Now? that depends.... he was supposed to  end up in Olant, then signal us...But if you had  word  about going Up the Alt?..we  can dow that,  and  cut alot of time off thier return to the City.

"Well I met a Riku and she said when I hit the Alt River to go northwards and than I'f meet the ship, is Riku good information?
