The Captain chuckled,..Captain Quickshadow seems to go out of his way to find the oddest of  people to join his  unit....Secure your   boat to the Stern, You shall ride  with us...we will look for   the Unit  working its  way down the River....he must have a reason to  take a chance in the  forests and such....

 Turning to the Crew,Up anchor, Load  the Balisste ...Just Tops  sails  for now..I want the Captain to see us Coming....

Baku pulls up alongside the stern of the ship, he takes a rope and throws it to a crewmember, "You got somewhere to secure that line? Thanks." With that he boards the larger vessel, "Want my help Captain?"

  Aye, Come  aboard, wouldn't  do  for ya  to get Plucked out of your  Boat  by  one of them  Big Serpents, before ye even Met   Quickshadow!

Baku looks into the water, "Nay, I'd hate fear that meself. Thanks for the ride Captain.

  After  they secured  Baku's boat, The captain waited a bit  for the  hint of  sunlight Coming over the Mountains...this  close to the mountains...they would be  in darkness for a while yet.

 ..CAst Off!...but  take yer  time  about it...in case we have folks watchin' from teh shores...we're  Just another ship Moving up the Alt....

  the ship began to  works it was up the River, the  CAptain sent a man up the masts to watch  the  east bank for signalswe will sail up to the  Ferry, unless we see sign from the Captain...

  The    Ship beat up river, the crows nest  looked at the  river bank, as did  a few sailors  at the Bow...

 One sailor  at the Stern  had a telescope to watch behind  , for any other river traffic.

  everyone is on board the Ship, Baku is  sent ahead to get to Ironmond, to  get Reedrick's attention.

   Kree and the CAptain talked, The elf  comes over to the Arrows.The   Princess and  her ladies will  be in teh CAptain's  quarters..the  rest of  us, re;lax  for a  Bit... I see  some smoke comign from the palce we camped...so, someone else has  found the spot......now?..we just have to Hope the ship can get upriver, before word  gets out , where we are....

Lafisual finds a place where he can rest but also keep an eye out.  Glancing over at the smoke he nods silently and then raises an amused eyebrow at overhearing Myranda's comments.

Responding to the Captains reply she rested a hand on his shoulder in a friendly manner. Now then Captain me Lad, be a dear and help me out; where would you prefer me to cast this and in which direction are the ships sheets to billow. she asked without guile or malice.

  The Captain points ahead to the Mouth of the  Alt  many miles away,we need to stay in the Middle of the River, in case  enemies  try to  stop the ship, try to keep us moving in that Direction,  My Helmsman will try to keep her trim as well....

Nodding Myranda moves to a spot below the sterncastle where she perch's on a barrel. Without hesitation she makes a gesture and the Ships Sails billow outward.

 The Helmsman took a few seconds to adjust to the Speed...

 Ivy shouted from the port side  of the ship. And Pointed to the area   they had exited the  trees.

  there was  some flashes  of  Fire, a pair  of  smallish figure, ...goblins?... exited the tree line and were  running  South east...

 A Man in Dark Robes  stumbled out of the  trees  and   staggered to the rocks near the river.... they could barely see the   small shafts, stuck in the mans  body.

 still , inside the trees..Flashes continued.

  Kree and a few others watched,Wel...Captain?..it appears you came...just in time....

Lafisual found himself just a bit distracted momentarily watching Myranda control the winds.  Very briefly an impressed look was noticeable but just as quickly he regained his composure and returned to watching.  It was just in time apparently as he watched the figure stumble on the shores.

After securing the Princess in her temporary cabin Justin returned to the main deck, just in time to see what was happening ashore. He wondered how may bandits they'd sent, after the Princess, this time; and how chewed up the goblins would be after the fight. Still evil fighting evil was had its upside.

An elf comes from the lower decks on deck. Although he is not very remarkable in his mottled dark brown and green outfit, the ruby arrow pin on his outfit is distinct, as is one of his weapons: an exquisite longbow.

     The Captain of the  Ship Moves    towards  Kree,Waving the newcomer who has  come from below decks.

 Captain Quickshadow? This fellow came  with the  Dwarf? He said  Reedrick thought you could use him?

 Kree , turned from the railings  as he Moved to Greet the New elf.

 The  Captain smiled a bit,we give   Kree the title 'captain' as he held that title  will with the  Emperor's  Guard. He.....left...under circumstances  we need  not discuss, but to the Arrows, he is a Captain...

 Well Met...I'm Kree... That Blu-eye elf with the grin is Ivy...he is my cousin... The Rest?  I will allow to introduce themselves.... You came at a ripe time.  We have people we need to get to the palace... I fear, it should not be as easy as sailing up The Storm

The new elf greets Kree: I'm pleased to meet you at last. I have heard a lot about you, lately from Reedrick. My bow and swords are at your disposal.

Now that you can see him more up close, besides the longbow you spot the matt black  hilts of a pair of matching swords, one short and one long. Also, a long white scar on his right temple, is obvious now.

 pointing back towards the way they have come,..we managed to find out targets, and get them away from Slavers...though, i think the slavers  are just cover for the   Hargen Empire....we encountered so  mercs Between Thur  and Trader's Rest...and the Goblins   seemed to be having it out with someone, in the trees we have just left....


I fear , something more the Slavers or Pirates attacking  the ship and taking the ladies  away...we shall see, if we can get them to the Palace

  Ivy is watching  the Little Skiff as it sails  some 500 yards  ahead of the ship, he calls down, adding,The Emperor Asked for the Arrows  , by name....Kree's Unit...to that point. Whether it was out of trust, or hoping we fail....I suppose  we will see?... I really want to walk into that throneroom with a grin on my face....

Rolf found boat travel somehow magical.  He was so used to being an active participant in his traveling about, but on a boat one just lounges about and yet still puts leagues behind one.  Rolf tends to keep such thoughts to himself though, leaning on the rail and watching the shore pass by, in turn looking ahead or behind, to the left or the right.

Lafisual continues to watch the events on shore looking back briefly to better hear Myranda's comments but then continuing to be on the lookout.

From his position on the SternCastle Justin glances over the back of the ship and considers possible threats. Glancing at Kree points towards the glazed area below him. Captain Kree One doth suspect yon windows be a weakens any intent upon exploiting such wouldst find ideal. Doth Thee surmise either Mistress Diana or Mistress Lucy be stationed with the Princess to address such a possibility

  Kree looked up, the n away from Justin Until he mentioned "Princess"..His ehad Snapped around  and Glared at the Fellow.

 Ivy  sprinted   to the Bow and Pointed,KREE!...THE DWARF!, He  ran to the railing and wathed..there were some  plashes in the water?....something..being thrown?

   Then the water   broke  as a  rather LArge Serpent broke the surface Bumping into the Skiff, the little boat shook, the Dwarf  tried to keep her on an even keel.

  from the  shore.. arrows  were flying out, and   Chunks of Bloody meet were being  thrown into the water..

 Everyone with Bows.... Fire  at the Serpent!  Kree  ran , taking 2 steps up to the  forcastle, drawing  ahis Bow, not even caring where he hit the  thing, as long as it hit...

 3 of the Ship's crew followed suit  and   would  try to fire  at the back, head or Belly..
