Re: Furman's Chain.

kree and the Guard Captain near the Axe and Flail. ..Look..Quickshadow? We are an open  town, Much like  Ironmound. There may be people here that do not like you...that you do  not Like...I am hoping you keep it quiet?

Ivy Grinned and shook his head  as he patted  Kree's  shoulder and headed into the  Inn.

Kree looked at the man, his halfsmile grew, just a bit as he said,If you are telling  me, there are Rival companies in this town? That is fine by me...we will let them make the 1st move...we will make the last..

Then the  smile is gone as he adds,..if you are telling me there are slavers here?...Then yo best tell them to leave, If i find them...I will Kill them...That is a Promise, Captain...

The Captain frowned and Nodded,Enjoy your stay...

Re: Furman's Chain.

Brie had made her way to each of the Inns and paid coinage to the barkeeps for any Crimson Arrows who may wish to stay the night there.  One attempted to give her a hassle, but with some suave moves and some magick he accepted the coin.  Where Kree was good with intimidation, Brie was great at being a smooth talker with a touch of magic.

She came back and found a  guard warning Kree and the Arrows about starting anything.

It wouldn't be the Arrows that you should be concerned over....its our meal and bed for the night, she said and walked up aside to Kree and smiled a bright, yet deviant grin and accompanied wink.  Dare any one attempt to ruin our love affair with our food and beds.

Re: Furman's Chain.

Kree  motions   all the arrows together and speaks   semi-quietly...alright, you  have all seen the  inns on this street...if you follow the road  around the trees towards the Sky Riders  base, You will find " Aces" towards the  Southern gate...it has  room, board  and  gambling...you could find...companionship there to , as well...

" Rocks" is  a  place to sleep, they have  food  for  in the morning, but  no  drinks...

" Zoes" is alot like Aces......its near the Smith and Stables.

That is all there is  to do in this town for Now... Brie  has left coin with   some of the  Inns, You can  sleep where you wish, Just meet here By Noon tomorrow....

He looks at the Princess,..you and your friends  will stay here with  Me and those others who wish to sleep here...

 Isra  nods,I would feel better...

Two  men get up  and  leave when Kree finishes  talking.

Re: Furman's Chain.

It had been a long day and when she reached the visual outskirts of Traders Rest she took an equally long sigh of relief.

Now, to find that weapon named Inn, she said aloud.  Fluttering above the buildings and most normal peoples heads...equal to a storm giant's belly button.  Which tht thought nearly had Riku smack into the sign she was looking for, she halted quick enough to flitter down into the entry and look in.

A pleasant grin spread over her lips and she darted in undetected and found Ivy.  Going into invisible mode, she landed on his shoulder and started tickling at his pointy elf ears.

Riku continues tickling at his ear even taking one of her "arrows" and poking him with it.  Ivy was always such fun to jest with.  When he'd go to take a look at the innkeeper's daughter, she'd poke him even harder.

Re: Furman's Chain.

After Kree's brief Myranda speculatively eyed the other Arrows; particularly Brie and Lucy, as she wondering what they intended to get up to. Before either could wander off Myranda slipped her arms through her companions. Come along then Ladies first things first. I'd suspect You two reprobates are in dire need of a little time in a Temple; before you seek out some other diversion. She Declares prompting them to join her.

In reply to Myranda of the Glenn (msg # 38):

Lucy was distracted when Myranda came up and looped her arm inside of hers.

She had intended to make a trip to that "rough" bar that Kree had told everyone about.

"Trip to a temple, eh?  Sure, why not." She said with a grin, and a shrug.

It wasn't in her plans, but what the hell.  It certainly couldn't hurt.

Diana headed for "The Inn".  She just wanted a nice warm bath at the moment.  Plus, sure figured that they had to have nice, soft beds, which would be nice.

She dismounted and turned her horse over to the stable boy, tipping him a gold piece.

Then she went inside to get a room.

Once she had the room, she inquired about a nice, hot bath.

Re: Furman's Chain.

The Inn inquires how she will pay. Word that 'the Arrows' were picking up the room tabs, made them smile  just a bit more.

at the end of the hall of the second floor ( where her  room is )..is the BAth chamber. The owner  sent  a Boy and a woman up to start a fire to warm the water.

...............................

There are not  too many folks   near the Temple, in fact..most are either ehaded to Inns, or ehaded home, at this time of night.

...........

Kree Moves to a table  by the fireplace, sits with his abck to the wall, and waits for  food  and drinks, the Pirncess and her ladies  have  went up stairs, they would share 2 rooms between Kree's and Ivy's on the  2nd  floor.

In reply to moving about (msg # 42):

Diana thanked the man, and went up to her room.  From there, she went to the bath Chamber, disrobed, and settled into the nice, hot bath.

She leaned back, in the tub, closed her eyes, and just let the warm water relax her whole body.

Re: Furman's Chain.

Brie was about to head out but was enthralled in an arm wrap that had her taken by surprise.

Oh, uhm, yeah, sure, she said to Myranda and looked at Lucy.  She gave a slow shoulder shrug and walked by Kree handing her things to him as they strolled out.

So we are reprobates? she asked wanting to know a bit more about this new term.

Escorting the Ladies from the Inn Myranda grinned at Kree as he settled in beside the wall. Once outside the Inn she glanced at Brie smiling mischievously Reprobate is another way of saying Shameless. Now before you get too carried away don't forget it takes one to know one, and all we are Crimson Arrows. Myranda clarified with an even wider smile.
When we get to the temple if you don't object I'll offer a prayer for you both; hopefully you'll be inclined to pray yourself as well.

Re: Furman's Chain.

Rolf weighs the options, but opts to follow Kree and party to the Axe and Flail.  Apparently, there was someone around here that had them concerned about Kree, and for damn good reason as far as Rolf could see.  But the place didn't give Rolf the sense of being safe for a bunch of Arrows.  Sticking close so they could watch each others back just seems the smart move.

Rolf asks after the stables.  He often found them more restful then the rooms to be had in such places.  Otherwise, he'd be fine in a room, or the commons, whatever's available.

Re: Furman's Chain.

Brie listened and for a moment frowned at being called Shameless one.  A grimace stayed in place until Myranda reassured her that at one time all the Crimson Arrows were "shameless".  Though it was an attempt to ease her mine, she put on a calm face when the thought of praying before her gods on behalf of joining the group.

Certainly, she said.  I'll gladly accept a prayer from you.

If Myranda only knew how special that meant to her, she'd knew exactly what she would pray for.

In the Axe and Flail, the  young  woman brought  Kree a bowl of stew and  some homemade bread, along with it a Mug of  cold  wine.

He  dipped some bread into the stew  and  ate it, nodding at the flavor.

................

Ivy watched  as the  4 ladies  came back down stairs to eat. They moved to the table with Kree and the  woman  brought plates and such over for them as well.

to Riku, Ivy says,My cousin plays  a dangerous  game. we should have traveled with the  slaves  and elves, we could have signaled the ship from the shore in two days...traveling down The Chain....too many towns...too many eyes  and ears...

Re: Furman's Chain.

After a time, and feeling a little closer to some answers, but not all knowing or sure of his goddess here, he stands and contemplates his current state a bit, and then leaves the temple.

Returning to the Axe and Flail he take a moment, from a few feet away, to look over a rather fine and disciplined horse standing outside not needing to be tied. A fine mount you are indeed, he says softly in a voice only the horse could hear.

Giving a last nod of approval he continues back inside and orders an Ale and some food and sits down near Jenna.  That is a fine companion you have there, he says in a voice of someone who would know.  How long have you two been together?

Bailey shakes his head and nickers in Lafisual's direction, half in acknowledgement of the compliment, half in warning to stay clear of the saddlebags.

When he sits and asks his question of Jenna inside, Jenna replies, She was a gift to me from my father when I was a child.  She's been my constant companion ever since.  Taking note of his features and movements Jenna begins to speak in Elvish.

Perhaps I will be so lucky to have such a mount someday He smiles back at her.

With her prompting in Elvish he responds in kind.

He pauses to take a round of Ale and then continues...

Pausing for another sip, and ruminating on the taste a bit longer, he then continues in elvish...

...a Steed. Paladins were naturally gifted with them, but Tra hadn't seen fit to bring him a steed suitable for the things he must hunt, yet. Then again, Eta hadn't seen fit to give Brother Justin a mount either, so perhaps it just wasn't time yet for their particular situation.

Luthien kept a watchful guard on the princess and her party all the same.
