Ivy speaks up  as he watches  down thwe vale and  eats,..the  Rocs  are as rare as they are  savage.... we have heard , from merchants and such, or  hnters  and   traders who come down the Fur Man's  Chain..., That the creatures seem to like to attack  Hargen's  side of the Mountain....it is rumored they have more  Cattle and such  there... , thus   dragons , Rocs  and such things   have more to feed on, then this side of the mountain.

Kree smiled  slightly,..There  are such serpents  in the Sea, and they are large, indeed... but there are enough  enemies  in the sea to help keep thier numbers low.

..The  serpents of the river s  vary in size  from as long as an arrow  to  longer  then some of Ironmound's warships....  They  will feed on each others, but prefer  other    foods...  They are a prized  food for the  wealthy folk.. some fisher men   fish the  River inside    Ironmound, itself?.. a 6  foot  beast could  give a  poor man as much coin as he would see in a month or two.. regular fisher man,  travel the  river.. the serpents  hurt them as they tear the  Nets.. but?.. if they  snag a few, they  will make  more then enough to  replace the nets....

Niphre woke up when the sun had barely risen in the sky, and she yawned, placing a hand over her mouth and stood up. She decided to take a small walk to stretch her legs and when she returned, everybody else had woken up."Good morning, everyone. I hope you slept well."

After eating Stardancer offered to help clean the camp up.  As others soon began to doze she waited until there was an offer of a watch.  If not she took the first one, waking another after a few hours.  before she began to sleep she selected an area near the wall of the cave.  She made a large braid in her hair and curled it to one side.  Armor removed she created a shawl like blanket and moved to lay down bracing her human portion against the cave wall.  Her weapons in easy reach incase of a surprise attack, her hair for a pillow.  To a human or a cat it may have looked uncomfortable, to a centaur it was not.  In her homeland it was custom to rest against a tree like such.  She would sleep until awoken by noises or a smell of food.

With morning, Feyamir rose greeting the sun with a gentle smile, while his hands danced in a complicated looking series of gestures. Meanwhile Swiftwing glittered in the sunlight as if it's feathers were covered with something glossy and reflective. The whole ritual took the elf about an hour, and people observing the Giant Eagle carefully could notice that the glittering things on the bird looked as if someone covered it's feathers with invisible but reflective letters of some kind. As if someone wrote abook on Swiftwing's feathers. But as soon as Feyamir ended, the glittery afterglow went away from the bird and it returned to looking normal, if more energetic than before.

With a cry, that certainly was enough to wake up remaining sleepyheads, eagle departed away. While the elf went towards Stardancer and greeted her with a smile and nod, then others including Myranda. But his greeting with the elven lady was just a nod, friendly smile wanishing from his carefully neutral expression like morning mist in the rays of the sun.

OOC: Meditating for an hour to regain 6 Mana. Swiftwing went away to hunt some food for itself, it'll find Feyamir without much trouble ... since Eagle Vision and Familiar Bond.

Vizzt was up, stirring  a  'oatmeal'  type    food,  ,   and  announced it was  ready when others  where ready to eat.

Kree  nodded to him as he added some raisin's to his bowl, and left the bag out for others.

..good Vizzt?  after  we  eat, you should   reayd  what items you wish to take with you... we'll be leaving when the  sun is a hand, above the horizon

Kree  frowned,..it would be nice to have  Camels  but.. we  seemed to have lost ours... I was Hopign to use them for the   freed  slaves...

as if reminded, he turns  to those who are eating and says,..when we  leave.. we will go to Mok.... while we are there..  the   freed slaves who wish to come with us, will  go to the ships...and see if our ship is there..or , if one of the friendly captains  will  give is passage.... while that is goig one.. I want  volunteers  to  follow me into the Beggar's guild, so we  may remove the  currant  leadership, and  install new ones.... The Beggars  Guild in IronMound as well as the Golden Horn Thieves  Guild, are allied  with  The Crimson Arrows.... it  would not be good, to forsake the  baggars  guild  at Mok....

He nods  as he looks around,..keep in mind, there is  a person in that city, that thought we were coming... do not be surprised if  the Merchant Lords, decide they do not want us  to  leave...

Stardancer listened as she unbound her hair from its place as a pillow for her.  "I am not a horse and do not carry people so..unless there is great need.  How ever I can carry much to free up a camel for one to ride if that helps" she offered. she ran her fingers through her hair to free it of knots.  Once done she began to ready to dawn her armor and weapons for the day.

Kree bowed his his ehad slightly , to Stardancer,we many not have many of your type in are  part of LAynak, but the  bards  tell stories.. and  I am , at very least..smart enough to listen.... If i understand it, it is the utmost insult, for some one  to attempt  to ride a  centaur  as  a horse, thought.. in those stoires, there are  also  tales  of those who were  excepted as such.... If the Need   for  mounts  is  high...  Ivy and  Myself,  will  range out as flankers on foot, we can keep up, or  ,,at very  least, not slow the group down.

She looked at him with a gentle smile "Yes...it is considered an insult...however if one was injured or unconcious...like another human carrying one to safety, we would do the same to get a companion from danger" she informed them all.  Of course I have been known to harness to a wagon or a dragged trapse on occassion.  I have even pulled a war chariot.  Though you mention 'desert' so I believe a wheeled conveyance is inappropriate"

"Deserts are places were you go to die."
Feyamir remembered his own bad experiences with deserts, and grimaced. Seeing Stardancer gooming her tresses he pulled out a small wooden comb and wordlessly gave it to her. Girl needing it more than him, he can was te Magic on that, after all.
"Stardancer, you will need a lot more water than us. You are bigger, and will sweat a lot more, for starters. I lost my thirtieth and final horse familiar to desert heat. It was ridiculously quick and ugly death. On foot travel ? Half of us will die of thirst or heatstroke. I can pass over it, but only because Swiftwing can fly with one light person, namely only myself or a trusted child. He doesn't trust easily. Even after growing smarter as Familiar. Plus during the day we would hide from the Sun. Still very risky without magic protecting from heat."
He pointed at rangers among them as the people who will survive desert trekking.
"Of course, I know very little of other dangers of the desert."
