SickTalis carefully stands up, balancing he readies to attack if Aldern climbs up.

SickGlum moves carefully into range and casts his spell that frees Cat of her paralysis.

Catessa Fallowfield feels Glum's spell dispel the paralysis, she dives into the water, changing into a squid and swims around Aldern to Tanrov.
[Private to Catessa Fallowfield: As you approach him, you have hope, he isn't obviously dead, he could be alive.  It is difficult to swim in this swirling water.  There is a sound coming from below, it sounds like some one trying to yell "Aldernnnn".]

SickZer-wedula slips and slides toward Talis and the water.  Talis barely manages to get out of the way, but the slippery slope combines with the stench to defeat his efforts at staying upright.  Zer impacts the water and misses hitting Aldern.  Zer-wedula is in the water, right above Aldern.  Talis ends up on the ground where he started the round.
Zer-wedula take 11 dam +5 subdual dam; and I'm not sure you are as low in hp as you think you are...well, before this damage.

Aldern Foxglove tries to grab onto the nearby rock, and finally succeeds, but it takes his whole round.

SickTalis tries to stand up, but ends up spending the whole round slipping.  In the end, he is still on his but, unable to stand on the slippery path.

SickGlum carefully digs out his rope (full round action to retrieve something like that out of his backpack).

Catessa Fallowfield easily swims in the water this round and picks up Tanrov and deposits him on the land, next to Talis.
Full round action; I thought your action was fairly straight forward, so I posted for you.

SickZer-wedula orients himself and slashes down, hitting Aldern.  But fighting in water is not really what greatswords are made for, and the water slows down his blow (1/2 dam)
Make a dc15 swim check if you want to move or do anything.

Round 14
Aldern Foxglove seems distracted by something below, he braces himself against the rock and pushes off toward the other side of the pool, where he manages to grab onto the rocks and climb to the surface of the water.  The gives Zer-wedula an Aoo, it hits, but also doesn't do much.

Cat stays squid and in the water, trying to determine Tanrov's status, ready to heal him if need be. She plots against Foxglove in the mean time.

SickTalis pulls out a potion and gives it to Tanrov who IS still alive and wakes up sputtering water and gasping for air (at 7hp).

SickGlum ties off the rope around the door and throws it down the slope.

Catessa Fallowfield grips the wall and contemplates what to do.

Glum stood by the rope and attempted to hurl shuriken at Aldern.  The first missed by a mile, the second was somewhat closer.  "We need to try to get away", he called, "Unless you can finish him quickly."

"Talis where's Cat," Tanrov will ask, "if she's in the water can she pick up me scimitar."

Talis says smoothly, "Sure Glum, fly on down and carry us out" as he pulls out 2 more healing potions, giving 1 to Tanrov and taking one himself.

Cat slips away, for now.  PM [Private to DM: Cat will try to help Iesha to the ledge. Cat doesn't really trust her but she has been helpful.]

Tanrov will take the potion and drink it.

"We are doomed," Zer-wedula mutters as he drinks a cure light wounds potion and readies a second.

[Private to Catessa Fallowfield: Cat swims down and grabs Iesha, trying to pull her up.  At first Iesha starts to resist, then she seems to realize you are pulling her the direction she wants to go, and stops resisting.]

Round 16
Aldern Foxglove looks at the group gathered below, all temptingly easy targets.  But then a strange look of fear crosses his face, which is quickly replaced with the look of self-confidence, "NO, The Skinsaw man will not be denied."  He seems to be talking to himself.  He looks at, no, he looks behind Glum and flexs his right hand.  "Out of my way dwarf, or should I tell your order your little secret?"  He jumps over to Glum, but instead of attacking he jumps over Glum, through the door and quickly pickups the War Razor he had dropped earlier.  However, he fails to confound Glum, who gets an Aoo, though Glum misses.

Glum sought to drive Aldern back into the area that had, last time anyone saw it, been full of fungus with blows of fists and feet.

Round 16
SickTalis manages to stand up, balancing on the wet, slippery path.

SickGlum throws some blows at Aldern, but misses with everything.

SickTanrov/Garth shows a just how persistent he can be as he starts climbing, with only a dagger to fight with.  The sickness nearly causes him to slip, again.  But he hangs on by a finger and pulls himself upward, seemingly by force of will alone.

Catessa Fallowfield comes to the surface dragging Iesha behind her.

Iesha grabs onto the edge and uses brute strength, of which she has plenty, to climb out of the water.  Her dress is torn, slashed and wet, as if she had been battered by the currents against the rocks, though the pale skin underneath shows no signs of damage.  She immediately looks around, dismissing each of you before yelling, "This time you aren't getting rid of me husband.  For better, for worse, till death do us part...but not even that will keep us apart.  Drown me, attack me with servants, push me over a cliff...I will come back and you will feel my hands around your throat."

SickZer-wedula starts climbing upward as well.

Round 17
Aldern Foxglove looks Glum with contempt, "You think you can stop The Skinsaw man by yourself?"  He starts to swing the war razor, then, Ieshas voice is heard and he stops.  There is an obvious internal struggle and the look of confidence is replaced by fear, His Lordship has returned.  "No, no, she's dead.   She will be so angry...I must get away."  He jumps over Glum, and again gives Glum an attack, and again Glum misses.
Aldern failed his tumble check
He comes to a dead stop just on the other side of Glum, balancing easily, and stares at Iesha with a look of fear.  With a timid voice he asks, "Honey, is that really you?"
