Re: OOG Chat

That I do remember Mr. Wilde.  Hopefully planning to do that tonight but unfortunately it is rest time at the moment...body and mind still a ways from recovery and I don't intend to overdo it this time and hit another wall.

But there should be posts near daily at least though a number will be to get my head wrapped back into the game and all.

Re: OOG Chat

Gonna toss out a rather important question for my fellow players.

How moral are your characters?

Dwight is a shaman that follows the Wise Warrior totem in the form of the Lone Ranger. He does his best to live by the Lone Ranger's Creed and takes it seriously. He's also a former Texas Ranger (Criminal Investigation Division) so this will affect who he runs with. He will not make a habit of most things your "average runner" will do...unless Aztechnology/Aztlan is involved. Then he gets almost into the "average runner" mentality.

Re: OOG Chat

Wilde is a pretty moral person. His original intent was to use his abilities to just unobtrusively study people and places. However, when his parents informed him his sister was missing in Seattle, he made the journey. He's normally a very friendly and amiable person, but figured that didn't fit the runner persona so he created Mr. Wilde.

He's picky about the jobs he takes, but if it means progress in finding his sister he'll do about anything. To him, family and friends are the number 1 priority. The latest word he has is that his sister is working in one of the Strip clubs in the Barrens. He's hasn't had an opportunity to check out the rumor yet, but it's just a matter of time.

I think he and Dwight would will work well together. :)

Re: OOG Chat

Sorry guys but you gonna have to find out what makes Deathstrider tick in game. I am very picky on such matters as I have been victumised by metagamers before. Nothing against you all personally, just being carefull.

Re: OOG Chat

Okay..detailed notes will be finalized later tonight after my live game ends tonight.  If you think you need to tweak or finalize things yet now is the time.  :D

Otherwise, go ahead and sandbox a bit...give a reason for why you are out in this weather in downtown Seattle.

Re: OOG Chat

*one of the devil rats explode in a mist of red goo. Dwight looks up to see Dethstrider holding a silenced Aries Predator and a smirk upon his face.* I hate rats. Anyways....the only explanation of Shaman's absence is that his health has landed him back in the hospital. I hope that is not the case though. I would prefer that he was just busy with real life for a while over health issues.

Re: OOG Chat

Okay, so I am not sleeping when I really should be...but that's the way the body bounces.

So I have a question for those of you still with me.  Do you prefer the cast of characters to be kept fairly short or do you prefer major and minor NPCs to have their own entry?  Or somewhere in between?

Doesn't matter to me. That's more your preference since you're the one running them.

Re: OOG Chat

Only cast of characters I would like to see are the ones that we deal with directly. Primarily our contacts and such. Other than that, I aggree with Dwight, your prefrence.

Re: OOG Chat

I'm hoping we keep it at least semi-steady from here.  I will be taking a hard look later today at Mr. Wilde though I am hoping he posts soon for his intro.

Not sure if Click is coming back but I'm waiting to hear from him.

I may have another who is interested in coming onboard though.

That said, I'm going to clear out some messages that are not needed and are just taking up space.

Also, just for everyone's own knowledge, my post sizes can range from quite large to a couple of lines depending on what I consider is needed to keep things moving at the time.

Re: OOG Chat

On the GM Wanted is a double digit thread that started when someone asked for an SR4 game. If you want more players, that would be the place to go.

Yeah...what Dwight said...and as for posting...I am the same way. My posts can be long or short, depending on what is waranted for posting. Some posts don't need several paragraphs while others actually require it. So yeah....I am with ya, boss.

Re: OOG Chat

I saw those though they should be taken care of by the two new sandbox games that have started.

If this fellow comes in he'll be new to Rpol and this style of gaming.

I will likely open it up in a month or two once things are steady.

No, I didn't, but a couple of GMs would just let me have the points for whatever Bad Luck trait for whatever game we were playing because they know I have it.
