Re: OOG Chat

Got a former Texas Ranger Criminal Investigation Division support shaman here. Name is Dwight, but his former partner, a Comanche, gave him the nickname Tonto since Dwight was his "Faithful Anglo Companion."

Dwight's totem is the Lone Ranger (the Wise Warrior).

Re: OOG Chat

Some time over the weekend I will be posting a bit of a lead in to the game and giving those of you whose characters are complete something to do.

If you know of a few good players that may be interested pass the word along.  However let it be known that magic-wise I think we're good.  ;-)  At least when it comes to actual spellslingers.

Re: OOG Chat

Yep.....and I am looking forward to playing. Just got an issue. I don't have any of the companion books so I am stuck with core rules at the moment.

Re: OOG Chat

I'm definitely looking forward to the game. :)

Anyone know if there's a good portrait for a fomori Troll in Victorian dress? I haven't seen one :(

Re: OOG Chat

That's fine.  I can help suggest tweaks and abilities from other books. I haven't built quite to a thousand characters yet. ;-)

Re: OOG Chat

You mean "The Legend of the Lone Ranger" from 1981? That was one of the worst travesties ever.

The Lone Ranger was, and always will be, Clayton Moore. Tonto will always be Jay Silverheels. Both of them talked the talk and walked the walk on screen and off.

Re: OOG Chat

Re: OOG Chat

I was 5 when that movie came out. It wasn't until later in life when I learned how the studio treated Clayton Moore (just running rough shod over him as opposed to trying to get him on board) that I came to the conclusion that movie was not that great.

I'm highly biased though.

Re: OOG Chat

I suddenly feel very old.

How are the characters coming for those still working on them?

*grin* And now everyone has PMs.

Re: OOG Chat

I'll be here too. This game's worth the wait :)

BTW, anyone know if there's a troll pic in the portraits? I know there's not a Fomori in Victorian dress, but I'll take something close. :)

Re: OOG Chat

Can I get a role-call to see who is still here please.

Posts will likely be a tad slow for a few days as I need to get my brain back wrapped around and into the game but yes I am back finally and getting back into the GM robes.
