Nope, why?

For my new aspiration, I want to do something with the Hunter side of my character. I have an idea, but I'd need about six hunter npc's.

Normally not an issue, but I'm kind of stuck for ideas, so I'd thought I'd ask around first. Also, it's fun to bring back old characters :)

If you're okay with new characters instead, I can come up with a few ideas for you. Also, there's no shame in basing NPCs on characters from your favorite show or whatever.

Hold those thoughts, unfortunately I think Phlegyas might be doing the thing again. :/

I'm not doing the thing. The thing is being done to me. Le sigh. I'm a showcase for murphy's laws - everything goes wrong at the same time, and free time is one of the first casualties. I gotta work on finding my inspiration again, too - loking for appropriate anime and manga. Feel free to suggest some. I finished Kiwaguro no Brynhildr a week ago. While it's not magical girl genre, it has some tangents with Princess on the morality side of things.

Well, I'm assuming you already have but I'm finally in the middle of reading Sailor Nothing. As for suggestions, I'd say Heartcatch Precure is about 90% the opposite of useful for P:TH research purposes and 10% completely spot on. Specifically, Cure Moonlight is a perfect example of the kind of arc that the World Formerly Known as the New World of Darkness would very much like to put a Noble through if it had its way.

Final Fantasy Tactics doesn't work too well in terms of setting, but it's an excellent story about the uphill struggle that comes with trying to change the world for the better. In my opinion, the character arc of its two protagonists is an almost perfect depiction of the difference between a Radiant and Twilight Noble, as well as what it might look like when one of each find themselves working toward a mutual goal. The story even involves a character who works as a Dethroned analogue.

I know you asked for anime and manga (plus, video games take quite a bit of time to finish), but I seriously recommend finding a playthrough of the game online. Or just reading the script.

I will... try to do that some time in the next few days. IRL actually hasn't been too great to me either lately with the side effect that I haven't been on GiantITP in a little over two months now. Which bodes poorly given the four PbPs I was in over there. One of which I was GMing. Which I am fully aware makes me the pot to Phlegyas's kettle, but that's neither here nor there.

Okay, RL is done boning me for now. At least for the next 2 weeks, then I won't be online for 3 weeks again. Judging by the signs in the stars, such on and off fuckage will last until December, when my life should return to some semblance of normalcy.

I think it's best to shelve this project for now. When I have the time and urge to GM this, I'll shout over on giant's forum.
