As a reminder, the medvest Jade carries has the following:
Basic first aid bandages and the like.
Four syringes: Two are marked "Boost Rate" and two are marked "Inhibitors."

Snow shrugs, About as confident as i was with my skill at descending from the ship! then pumps a round into the shotguns breech for emphisis.

Snow pumps another round into the shotgun.  The mutants are very wary, having learned from their mistake.

Elle pulls the dead researcher closer toward the EM machine.  "If you break that thing, all those things will rush you like a swarm of bees," she says to Snow.  "It's all that is keeping them back."



Jade pulls on the lever, and the train jerks into motion back toward station 1.  The mutants see it moving from them and begin sprinting after it.

A shriek bursts out from the giant creature approaching down the tunnel.  Electricity runs through the cables above, but instead of hurting it, the creature seems to be absorbing the power.  It is moving faster.  In fact, it briefly comes into view as it reaches the edge of station 2 just as the train is departing.



There are several thumps from the far end of the train.  It is hitting mutants on the tracks.  Then you hear another thump and the scratching like nails against a blackboard.  One of the mutants is on the train car.  You hear the sounds moving from the rear towards the front.


The subway train car is accelerating toward its maximum velocity, which the gauge indicates to be 100 kph.

You may assume it is 2 km between the two stations.

Laz is flustered it is apparent if anyone looks at him. Once the scratching along the train starts he doesn't look too good. "I hope that thing can't get in."

"Ah man, with claws like that its going to make a way to get in thats for sure."

Lot takes a moment to check on Sam's condition.  The last thing Lot wanted to do was to come all this way for nothing.  If anything more can be done for Sam Lot will ask Jade for the med vest and trust the others to cover him while he works.

"Easy, I think that's one of the normal ones." Mitose pauses for a moment at that statement, and actually laughs. "Keep oan eye on teh glass and the doors, lets get to the others, as quick as we can!"

He moves to check on Bill again, doing any further first aid he can.

Jade hands the medvest to Lot.  "Take care of Sam.  I'll try to handle these controls."  She lets it accelerate to maximum velocity.

The metal scratching continues from the rear of the car toward the front.  The train doors (4) are still open.  The train has accelerated to maximum velocity.

50 seconds until the train car reaches station 1.

Unless there is combat or other activity requiring otherwise, I will take this in 10 second intervals.  Therefore, please plan your PC's moves for 10 seconds (and give a contingency if attacked).

 Fault inches away from the whirring generator, toward the edge of the white circle nearest the tunnel. He swings the handgun out infront of him in what was meant to be an intimidating manner, but ended up just making his lack of skill even more obvious.

Can someone stabalise Viper bafore he bleeds out on us? I'll cover Snow will continue to watch for any mutants who get too close. If none do, he'll fire a shot at one of them anyway.
OOC : Aim and fire at a random mutant. Every ten seconds or so. He'll fire until he has two cartriges remaining in his weapon

As Lot works on Sam he cant help but feel the increasing wind in the cabin as they accelerate.

"Damnit? are those doors still open?  Jade is there a door switch on that panel?"

Lot keeps his pistol pinned beneath his knee to prevent it from sliding around or bumping away.

Here is a reprint of the train controls to refresh your memory:

The others clamber into the train car and look at the control panel.  It consists of a single lever (presumably for traction and braking control), a reversing key, a small numeric and symbol keypad, and an LCD flat panel graphic/alphanumeric display (as in a laptop computer).  The display appears to be used in conjunction with the keypad to control doors, reset alarms of various sorts, display train speed and braking information, etc.

40 seconds to station 1

At station 1, Fault shoots at the nearest mutant as he goes to the edge of the white circle.  He gets three shots, but only makes one solid hit.  The mutant falls back.

Elle moves in to try to stabilize Viper now that Yutaku is dead.

Snow fires two shots from his shotgun.  The mutants, now aware of the dangers, jump out of the way, and his shots miss as they echo in the darkness.

The EM machine is winding up very loudly now.  It's just a matter of seconds.

The mutants are getting anxious.  They also seem to be getting bolder.  They inch closer to the white line and crouch to pounce.



Lot pulls out the inhibitor and injects Sam.  Mitose is aiding Lot with first aid on Sam.

Laz tries to push the doors together with his hands, to no avail, as they are flush inside the walls they slide open to.

Jade pushes the "door" button, and the doors close.

The mutant on the train car has moved to the top left corner and is scratching furiously at something.  It sounds like crowbars against a car, accompanied by deep scratching and the sound of metal being ripped apart.

From the distance, you see a brief flash.  Something is approaching you.  Since the train is moving, it appears to be in slow motion, and you recognize it immediately.  It is another one of those shockwaves - emitted from the mouth of the large creature.

It will reach the train car in probably about 10 seconds.

Sam appears to be stabilizing.

Mitose looks up from Sam and out the window, when the doors close. "That one on the outside could cause a problem..."

Then he spies the shockwave, "Grab a hold of something!  Jade!  If we can go faster, now's the time!  If that wave cuts the power, maybe we can get by on inertia until we restart the thing..."

Laz struggles futiely with the doors and gives up after a few seconds, as he lets go the doors close and he takes a breath. He walks over to Mitose and Lot, to see what is going on with Sam when he notices the shockwave. "Seems, we have another surprise," says Laz as he braces himself against the wall.

Snow continues to watch the mutants, aiming his shotgun at them in turn, hoping to at least scare them a bit. He fires only one shot this time, after aiming at a particularly ugly mutant for a few seconds.

"We should think about powering down and coasting until the wave passes us by.  Even if we arrive at the station before it hits us, it will still hit us.  We dont want the train to burn out before we are done with it."

Snow chuckles despite himself, Well, you have the choice of trying to run for it, of course, the way out is through them he motions towards the mutants,
