You hop in the van, change into the jumpsuits, and hide your weapons in the vehicle.  Then it's off to the Merotech building.

You pull up to the entrance and are stopped by a man who asks why you are there.

A Lincoln Towncar pulls up behind you.  Two men in suits and sunglasses (at nearly 8 at night) are in that car.

It is 7:40 p.m.

Pulling up to the entrance, Screed catches sight of the two pulling up behind him in the side view.  "Oh great.  Guys, those two from the party are in a car behind us, this may not be good.  Be careful and discreet."  Pulling the rest of the way up to the guard, he rolls down the window and responds, "Oh, yes, sir.  Certainly.  We're here for the Code updates."  Nonchalantly, he mutters quietly so hopefully only the guard would here, "Omniscient eye," and then louder again, "Yep, heck of a time to be working this late, but you gotta do what you gotta do."

Jade unzips her duffle bag so that her M-16 is handy.  "Bet they can't dodge automatic weapons fire," she mutters.

Screed glances back and says, "I hope not, else we're in even more trouble."  Turning back, he smiles at the 'guard'.

 Cala slings her duffle bag over her shoulder as she glances briefly out the back window at the two men in the Lincoln. "I don't like this," she says quietly, turning back to the others. "I don't like them, and I can't remember why."

Jade says to the guard, "Those guys behind us have been following us.  I think they're making plans against the Merovingian.  You should check them out very carefully."

Dracos sits quietly, hands crossed on his lap. A mission of stealth was his type of mission...therefore he'd need to be on the top of his game for it. The teen tries to master his fear as he waits.

The guard waves you forward.  "Move along."  Then, to Jade, "And thanks for the warning."

You drive down into the parking garage.  You see behind you that the guard is talking to the two suited men.  Unexpectedly, one of the men pulls out a gun and shoots the guard.  Then they drive the car forward crashing through the gate arm in front of them.

You press the accelerator.  They are obviously trying to catch up to your van.  You see one of them reloading his pistol.

It is 7:41 p.m.

Screed's mind flashes back to Vegas and the two who were enemies there.  "Okay, this could be trouble.  I didn't sense any animosity in them.  I'll keep driving defensively while everyone does what they're going to do."  He concentrates on driving.

You are currently picking up speed and driving in a multi-level parking garage.  You are at level B1, and it goes to B4.  It has a center ramp (that you are going down) which you can then turn right or left, go around behind the ramp and go down the next level.  It is currently about half full of cars.

In the far left corner is a sign pointing to stairs.  To the right is a sign pointing to handicapped parking and elevators.

Screed guns the engine as he thinks quickly.  Making a snap decision he says, "Okay, quick, someone sneaky jump out when I say go, sneak to the elevator on the right, and have it meet us on B3.  Use your Focus Speed.  We need to try and lose them."  A thin film of sweat is forming on his upper lip as he concentrates.

Shadow gives a quick look out the rear window at the Lincoln following them "They don't look so tough, besides ya think they could get a nicer car."
Seeing the guard get shot surprises even him "I guess they're serious."
Shadow packs his gun into his holster checking his ammo "I'm ready to go boss, just say the word."  Shadow edges towards the back of the van and grabs the handle of the door.

Screed whispers to himself as he rubs his chin, "Boss?  I can't even grow a beard yet."  He loses himself in the moment thinking about his life and how he got here.  "Pay attention, Screed.  Let's hope this life flashing before my eyes is not an omen."  He gets ready to swerve, glancing in the mirror to see if the have made the first turn yet.

"I'm the stealthiest, I'm pretty sure, but I can't run all that fast..." he speaks quietly, no longer the loud obnoxious kid from earlier.

Dracos' remark goes unresponded by his companions as Shadow eases toward the door.

Screed turns away from the elevators and lets shadow out while only slowing down a little.

Shadow jumps out and goes into bullet speed, running toward the elevators.  Then Screed guns it.

The Agents follow your car.

Screed continues through the B2 level.  Finally, at the B3 level, he swerves toward the elevator sign.

The Agents are left a bit behind.  Screed quickly pulls into a spot and everyone runs for the elevator.

Shadow is holding it open.

The Agents turn on your level.  You have to run about 30 feet to the elevator.

The passenger Agent pulls out his pistol.  He aims...

*burst of speed, dodge like... well, just dodge*

Screed is amazed that the plan is coming together so well until he sees the agents aiming their weapons.  "Shadow, blow up the car!" is all he says as he sprints at bullet speed for the elevator.
