It'd depend on what setting you guys wanted, and what sort of GM style you wanted - plus I'd want people to stick with it, since my Only War game fell apart due to 7 players dropping to 2, with only 2 people saying they were dropping out, and apparently my posts were seen as overly-descriptive by one person (though not sure how you can really do that...).

Wait, overly descriptive? Now there's one you don't hear every day o.O

Anyway, as far as the setting would go the general consensus seems to lean towards this:

Didn't help that no one seemed to want to talk to one another either - meant it ended up dying off before getting to the shooting because people wanted to jump straight to it, rather than actually get a mission brief, get their weapons, talk to NPCs, etc.

But yea, half the players dropping out without a word didn't help things either, since we'd built the squad together, so only 2 PCs wouldn't really cut it without me NPCing everyone, and I thought that'd probably get dull and very railroad-y after a while.

No kidding, with two PCs all you can do is a 'cut off behind enemy lines' thing and post Players Wanted ads like crazy, but even then you'd just be patching holes.

But yea, depending on what sort of game you guys want (in the Vortex/in the Imperium, all classes open/humans only, infiltration and subversion/lots of combat, etc), I might be up for trying my hand at Black Crusade again.

As one of those 2 last players, I have to say... I still believe that it wasn't your fault. Things like that just tend  to happen all too often in rpol.

And, I've been itching to play Black Crusade for some time now.

I'd like to play Black Crusade, most games tend to end young though :(

Cheers man, and yea, the relative anonymity of internet gaming makes it a lot easier to drop from a game with no consequences than a tabletop match, I think.

Still, if you want to give Black Crusade a go... consider me interested.

As I said though, what would people prefer? Human only, or including some Marines? In the Screaming Vortex, or in the Imperium? Basically, what sort of tone and style are you after?

I'd be interested as well, and would prefer humans only, though the location is less important to me.

I'd go for both Marines and Humans, (personally because I recently started a tabletop CSM army and have been wanting to play as one), as for the location, both the Imperium and the Screaming Vortex sound agreeable to me.

I'd be interested, since the OW game crashed. I could go either way as far as characters.

I would love to play, and don't care if it is Humans only, Space Marine only, or a mix. Nor do I care about location. Now that my computer is fixed, hopefully, I can do some more playing.

It's always good to get a Black Crusade itch scratched, and maybe one game isn't enough for me. :D

Are there any GMs out there keen to run a campaign?

GMing a campaign has only made me more eager to play in one!

I'm a fan of only humans.  It's a shame about your OW game, I always want to get involved in any 40k games around, but they always seem to fill up quickly, or the GM simply stops it, or I'm left with one or two other guys still active and everyone gone.

I know the feeling, trust me. Still, the games that do continue past character creation generally make it worth it to keep trying ^^

I've yet to experience one sadly.  I have no trouble playing in D&D games past 3 to 6 months.  Or Vampire: The Masquarade games for months or even past a year in one game.  When it comes to 40k though, I've never seen a game last more then a couple of months, at least not the ones I've been fortunate enough to get into.

Hmm, i'd have to agree that so far i've been having the least luck with WH40k games.

Maybe rMail the players that stuck around in the other games and band together into a new game?

Well, we have a number of players here looking, it's just finding a GM for us all that's the issue.

As I said previously, I might be up for GMing one, but since I just started my new job, and all the stress/busyness/etc involved in that, it probably wouldn't be for a while (October/November at the earliest, most likely).

I have yet to use my BC book, another souI awaiting a campaign.

I got to use mine once before the binding went out on it. I'd like a BC game as well.

You should e-mail FFG about that, they usually replace your book if it breaks that easily.
