Didn't help that no one seemed to want to talk to one another either - meant it ended up dying off before getting to the shooting because people wanted to jump straight to it, rather than actually get a mission brief, get their weapons, talk to NPCs, etc.
But yea, half the players dropping out without a word didn't help things either, since we'd built the squad together, so only 2 PCs wouldn't really cut it without me NPCing everyone, and I thought that'd probably get dull and very railroad-y after a while.
