Re: Forum Chat

Giving this a Mature rating will surely stop some people from being able to post. Seems unnecessary to put an age restriction up.

Re: Forum Chat

There's no automatic age restriction on a Mature rating, only an Adult one.

The FAQ:
Because there is no Restricted Content (as defined by our Policies) permitted in a Mature game, there is no need for a minimum age.  The GM of a game is, of course, allowed to set a minimum age for their game and enforce it as they like.  If, however, the content of the game is such that children should not be exposed to it, the game must be rated Adult, without exception.

Re: Forum Chat

Hi folks! I am new to the forum. Thanks for having me Furry.

I've been a GW player since the early nineties with my first love being WHQ followed swiftly by everything else GW related.

I've had a quick look round and there seems to be a nice group of players gathering here. I look forward to getting stuck in.

Frankly I'm suprised there is anyone left in the imperial armies. I swear they are the definition of genocide.

*Flippant comment*
With birth control having been declared hertical a certain level of 'heretics' are needed to be found every year to keep the worlds from overcrowding.

Re: Forum Chat

I just bumped the game add but if you could advertise in games that you GM and play in then that would be good to. We've had a bit of a lull in the new users this week.

Re: Forum Chat

The survival of a game relies a hell of alot more on the players than the Gm, I'm finding. I've been keeping tabs on "WFRP 2e: Doomstones" which has some fantastic players in it.

Kudos to whoever is playing in that game.

Yup.  I think it is really funny that in the  "RPOL Character Vault" there was a lengthy vent about GM's.  When I brought up that characters are just as important I was ignored and several of the members ranted about GM's at length.

No players and the GM might as well write a book on their own.

Re: Forum Chat

Indeed, games are much more dependant on players than the GM. Of course a good GM is needed for a game, but if players are, say one-line posters or absent, the game falls flat on it's face.

example: in my game, most players are really motivated to keep playing, and this keeps the game going. If they weren't it would've died weeks ago.
