"Bah you're fine lady. I wanted to make sure you were fine that is all. Healing you took some out of me but I am ok. So what happened to you?," said Micheal as he looked at the young lady surprised that she didn't pass out.

"Alright then. Well have a good rest then," says Micheal as he turns and waves as he heads back to his room. Once again entering his room Micheal draws his sword Crimson Hearth. Moving things aside Micheal begins to stretch and work out. Starting with one hundred push ups Micheal continues by doing thirty-five sit ups and fourty-five cruntches.

He is singing to himself as he moves to his room, the tune difficult for anyone to make out.

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

The sand and dust in the corner of Aubria's room starts to stir, until it has become a tornado of blurr rising up from the floor.  As suddenly as it began, it disappeared, leaving the woman fully formed behind.

Squinting at the form on the bed, her arms fold across her chest she rolled her eyes, a smirk forming on her lips.

Wake up Sleeping Beauty! She announced this time, seating her self down on the side of the bed with a flounce.

"Woah!" Aubria sat up with a start, shaking her head to make herself fully awake. "Wait a minute..." She slowly turned and, upon seeing Marcy, shook her head with a smirk. "You have a trend for coming in and waking me up, eh, Marcy?" She dangled her legs over the bed and grinned mischeviously.

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

You sleep too much. The woman answered unfazed.  I'm not staying...I have something for you. She reached into a pocket and pulled out what appeared to be stone similiar to the one Aubria has thrown.

It is not... exactly the same. But it should do for you, more or less what the other did.  Since you returned the stone to me and have helped my world, I offer this to you.  She held the stone out for Aubria.  I cannot, of course, be responsible for it.  I am not certain what it WILL do, only what I think it should.  Therefore, if you accept this, I'd advise using it at least initially with caution. She spoke matter of factly.

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

Biting back a retort as to being worn out because of Marcy's world, Aubria listened curiously. With a grateful smile and a nod, she took the stone from Marcy, saying, "Thank you, I will use it with caution." She then tilted her head slightly and asked, "Uh, I hope you don't mind my asking, but... How did your sunstone end up in my world? And what kind of being are you exactly?" By now Aubria wasn't so certain that Marcy was actually a sorceress, and was thinking she was something... different. Maybe even a goddess.

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

The woman frowned, what kind of being?  She wasn't sure how to answer that....

My people are called Hemeraians... A very long time ago we were a most prolific group in my world.  We lived in a co-existence with the Erebosians.  The differences between us creating a balance. The woman looked at the girl curiously, not understanding why she would care about such things.

Standing, she crossed the room to the corner in which she had originally appeared.  I was not alive when it began… but the stories were passed down and taught as history.  Originally the portal was used frequently.  People from my world traveled to others, some returned, some built lives else where and our world was open as well.

This proved unwise as some who came were friendly, but others came to conquer.  The Hemeraians and the Erebosians worked together and most were driven off… but…At one point, the Erebosians made… a deal.  They helped one of the visitors to steal the stones that helped create the balance of powers.

At first, it wasn’t recognized, the invaders left and the Hemeraians believed they had been defeated.  That wasn’t the case.  The Hemeraians began to fade.  Our powers weakening and the darkness rising….

Darkness without the power of light can become corrupt…  Just as light without the balance of dark can be also…
She shook her head, feeling she had strayed from the question.

I don’t know who among the humans made the deal or how it came to be.  I know it was learned the source stone was in human possession.  It needed to be returned.  From a young age, this was my… purpose.  To retrieve the stone, to start the return of the balance of power.

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

"Hemerians and Erebosians..." Aubria murmured, rolling the stone she held in her hand. "That second term sounds slightly familiar. Oh, I remember! Zahura said that someone of that race gave the sunstone to a sorcerer named Eron of my world. He's the guy that tried covering my world in darkness..." She trailed off, looking at the ground contemplatively. "So that's how it worked..." She looked up at Marcy and said, "Well, thank you for giving me a chance and correcting my misconceptions. I will inform Zahura, my mentor, of the sunstone being returned, as long as you are alright with that."

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

The woman gave a sort of chuckle, snort and looked at the girl. It's not 'the' stone... it's 'a' stone... Tell whomever, whatever you like. She shrugged.

You returned what was ours.  You managed to stay alive. I thought that was worthy of something.

"Wow..." Aubria looked down, a bit bashful, but still quite proud of her accomplishment. "I'm honored, Marcy," she said when she looked back up. "At least I do something right traveling around on my own. Thanks for giving me a chance, despite my stubborness." She half-snorted to her own words.

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

The woman looked at her with an eyebrow raised, You can be a rather ...foolish girl, but... I'd like to think you'll grow out of it, if you live long enough. She sighed,

Well... I shall be returning... She stood a bit straighter, Remember child, it is not your stubborness that could harm you.  Things may or may not be as they appear... or you presume them to be. You were nearly dinner for the Butterfly Demon.  With a curt nod, the woman twirled and with a spin disappeared.

Re: Upstairs in the Inn

Her head cocked, Aubria watched as Marcy disappeared, then muttered, "Butterfly Demon... the irony of it all. It's more of an oxymoron, actually." She shook her head and chuckled; demons weren't a new thing to her, but she'd only encountered a moth demon once at home, never a butterfly demon.

"Scorpian demons are more common," she murmured as she reached into her bag and fished out a mint leaf. Mint leaves were one item she carried with her that wasn't always a spell component. Sticking it in her mouth, she chewed on it as she hoisted her bag over her shoulder and donned her cloak again. Her curiosity was getting the better of her, so she decided to see what was going on around the place.

The sleep was long overdue.  He had pushed himself and was paying the price.  He had enough strength left to put himself in a regenerative state before passing out on the bed.  All of those calories he had eaten would be put to good use.

Once he was done his work out Micheal takes Crimson Hearth and tucks it into it's sheath and heads out of his room. Once he steps outside of his room he sniffs the air and then with a second sniff he looks around from side to side.

"Huhm rabbit. Oh well probably someone's pet," said Micheal as he then went downstairs to get food and a drink or two.

Watching his movements for signs that he was in worse shape than he claimed, Vanessa crossed the room to get a cloth. When he'd taken his coat off the amount of blood spotting his shirt was frightening.

The magic had worked, aside from his hand and the grime, Mason looked almost well. Vanessa let out a long slow breath.
