Re: Chapter 2.5 -- Orford Abbey
"My name is Demios," he answers, still refusing to pull back his cowl. "And I have been searching for you for some time. You seem to hold a kind of... aversion to this plane—although I can see now why you do. The Material Plane is a strange one indeed." As he speaks, he also looks around to the others gathered in the room; the others in the hall have followed Stan to meet the intruder.
"Frastøtende," He says with a shudder, using a language known only to Stan. You do not know for certain, but you are sure it was some kind of insult. "I tried to get your attention while you were with the monks, and would have contacted you directly; but they are not as open-minded as Lady Kaele here."
"Do you know me?" she responds a bit frazzled.
"Guess not," he says with a shrug, "but we've wasted enough time here as it is. Stan, I've come to collect you and any warriors, or..." he says as he looks over the group, unimpressed, "slaves, you command. We are ready to assault Môrotha's outpost."
"What about Blackstone?" Kaele says as she steps forward and grabs Stan's hand. Even he wasn't sure what that was about, maybe a ploy to gain his full attention? "You want to get back to your proper time, right? I believe Junus brought that tower down, and I think I can put you back—if we can find Junus."
"Well, the Abyss and the Material Plane aren't exactly held to the same time cycles; and we don't have all night. Looks like you have a decision to make, Stan."
You all have a decision to make: go with Stan to the Abyss, stay with Kaele and meet with Lord Brannigan at Blackstone tomorrow, or walk away from it all and start a new life in the future. I will allow the party to split now. Roleplay this out. =)
