Humanity terrifies me with its selfishnes and pettiness.

Had a student seeking a 1 on 1 appointment. It had to be by Friday, and they have classes from 9:00-11:55 and 12:30-3:00 Problem: we have no appointment slots open over these two days. AT ALL. Not even inside of their class time frame. I do calmly explain that although appointment times can't be taken, she is welcome to come into the lab at any time and raise her hand with questions, but I explain that she won't be able to have someone sitting at her side the whole time.

So what does she do? She goes over to the other lab, to our boss, and says that 'we won't' help her.

Also, I'm sick of students who buy $150 textbooks and demade taht we practically read them to them.

Being a tutor is HARD sometimes...
