Re: OOC: 12 Mar 13 - ?
So fun tidbit: since I work for a power company down here in Central Oklahoma, all those Tornados are really rustling my jimmies. Looking at some back to back shifts and whatnot, not to mention the damages and human suffering involved. But I'll try to keep abreast of matters here and post, because this game is still damn fun and I want everyone to get involved in the showdown.
Those of you not in the Oklahoma area, may I suggest good insurance if you plan to move down here? Or at the very least living on the eastern side of a well populated area? I'm not one to go advocating directly for aid organizations and all that, but I am one to ask everyone learn from disaster and take appropriate precautions.
For everyone in central Oklahoma, stay frosty. It's still pretty hairy out there. And for the love of all that is good, if you are going to build around here, built with an angled roof and round walls to minimize the damage from high winds. And a basement too. It's an investment.
