having the page header bar hover at the top
By "page header" I mean the gray field at the top of every page that has the RPoL logo at its top left and something like "Main Menu" at its bottom right. I might not be using the correct term.

In my brief time here, I've found that using the links in the page header after I've scrolled through a long thread, requires scrolling all the way back to the top. There is a "top" link at the bottom of the thread, but would it be simpler to make the page header hover so that it's always at the top of the browser window even when a user scrolls down?

Alternatively, perhaps there could be more frequent "top" links so a user can click "top" from any place on the page.

Just a thought.

If you go to your User Preferences (link at the top left of the page, directly below the RPoL logo) you will find that you can disable the fixed header, so that it behaves exactly the way you were talking about.

In reply to bigbadron (msg # 2):

Oh, I thought the On setting was to disable it, but it turns out the Off setting is to disable the fixed header. Thanks, it worked. :)
