Varis and Narik arrive back in the penthouse around 9 P.M. in the evening. Narik appears to be more than a little exhausted, while Varis displays signs of annoyance. As they exit the turbolift, Varis is speaking, "...never heard so many excuses to delay negotiations. Something or someone is putting pressure on Sienar executives here and I suspect that those Vindicators in orbit have something to do with it."

Narik nods in agreement and adds, "When they let me out of sight long enough to visit the head, I ran into a squad of stormtroopers patrolling the corridors. You've been there before, right? Is that normal?"

She shakes her head. "Not at all. The twi'leks like to keep the Imperial presence as small as possible. If there are stormtroopers in the Sienar offices, that's very unpleasant news, indeed. My negotiations are probably going to be pointless. The administrators will be too afraid of being caught to sell any tech or components to KDC." She sighs. "I'm going to change into something more comfortable."

"I think I will, too. I wonder who else is here..."
