Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 2 Sinya's Clinic

The Kala'uun Underside Free Clinic is located, unsurprisingly, on the underside of a ledge about halfway down the layers of the city. The clinic building is unremarkable, except that the entrance has a pair of security guards and scanners to detect concealed weapons.

You arrive after lunch, and there aren't too many patients around at the moment, just a young twi'lek woman and a small child, who is coughing slightly. Neither of them is particularly well dressed and the woman averts her eyes when you walk into the clinic.

Both of the security guards are older and a little overweight. This is probably their 'retirement' job from some other profession.

"Yeah, can I help you? A little too nicely dressed to be in this section of town, ain't ya?"

Kala smiles at the woman and her child as she enters. She was carrying no weapons, and didn't set off any of the detectors as she entered the clinic. "Hello. We have come to see Lady Sinya. Is she in?" She asked, hoping these guards were of the decent sort.

"Here to see Doctor Sinya? You don't look sick," he says suspiciously, placing his hand on his sidearm while the other security guard does the same thing.

Kala saw them putting their hands on their blasters and sighed a little bit. "Now, now gentlemen." She began, as she flashed a smile. "There is no need for any violence or threats here. I merely wish to see Doctor Sinya regarding a personal matter. If you would like, you could accompany me there to make sure I don't try anything. Granted, those scanners should have told you if I was carrying a weapon, would they not?"

"Ma'am, there are enough of you to cause trouble, even without blasters. I'm going to com Dr. Ziveri. If she recognizes you, we're all clear, but if she says no, we're going to have problems."

He thumbs his comlink on and speaks into it, "Doctor, you have visitors. Could you please come out to the waiting area?"

Kala nodded at the guard, and let him call the doctor. She reached absentmindedly into her pocket, slowly so she wouldn't find blaster bolts in her outfit, and pulled out the letter from Orn.

She wondered how the daughter was going to take getting a letter from daddy, who probably wanted to use her as a puppet to rule the city again.

Aadun waited out towards the back and hoped that this meeting would go better than the last.  Sinya had her own set of troubles and according to her father, she is suppose to be the harder one to deal with.  He had hoped that find some amount of blackmail material to make that easier, but they'd have to find a different way.

If Narik’s objective was to ensure the security of the group he was not keen on visiting the poorer side of the city. There was no way they were going to getting a meeting with Sinya anyway else though. He frowned at the security guards, they didn’t look like a threat but sometimes it was easier to deal with professionals, they were less jumpy.

As Kala took the lead Narik did not want to bring attention on himself. He was armed and would have been against any decision to explore the city without any protection. ”We would be willing to agree a meeting with Dr Ziveri outside of the hospital if that would be beneficial and cause less disruption” he offered as a compromise with the guards as there commed Sinya. Arms folded he did not react when they reached for their blasters; he doubted they would be foolish enough to draw their guns on the group in broad daylight.
