Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

The next day dawns with no further incidences. Everyone has safely returned to the villa on loan and there were no bombings during the previous night.

Re: Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

Kala had taken the time to rest, and relax a little, and when she awoke, she headed to the bathroom to freshen up. One shower later, and she was ready to meet the day. She had acquired a little bit of information, though she would need some time to confirm it, and was mentally preparing herself to go with Aadun and talk to Brill first, and Sinya second.

Re: Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

After completing his usual morning routine, Aadun stepped out into the more lived in areas of the house.  Hopefully, he has put into motion something that would help oust the Distombe Clan or something that would get them all killed.  Only time would tell.

When he sees Kala already up and smiled at her and said, "Glad to see you're finally around."

"Nice to see you too." Kala said, as she nodded to Aadun. "I guess we all had interesting and informative evenings, so hopefully with everything we've gotten we should be in good enough shape to wrap this up soon, and get off of this rock."

Narik was glad that the night had passed without incident. It either meant that their enemy had lost their trail or they were no longer under threat. He dressed and then entered the communal area of the villa.

Meeting Aadun and Kala he smiled “it’s definitely good to see everyone still in one piece. So what we planning to do today?” he asked them.

"Yeah, we should go as soon as possible," he responded with a shrug.  "As far as my plans go, today is open.  Whatever you two need help with, I am happy to do so."  He was getting antsy, staying in one place so long.

Re: Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

Varis enters the villa through the front door, accompanied by two other sentients, a Gran and a Bothan. "I was busy yesterday, hiring some additional help. I think with our losses so far on Ryloth, we needed to the advantage.

"This,"<purple> she says, indicating the Gran, <purple>"is Arng Hould.

"And this,"
she says, gesturing to the Bothan, "is Rorik.

"I expect everyone will contribute to the project. I leave it to the rest of you to bring Arng and Rorik up to speed. I have an appointment this morning to have my appearance changed. I'm too distinctive. By this afternoon, I should have a very convincing disguise as a Twi'lek. I'll want an update when I return."

So saying, she makes her exit.

Nodding to the group as his name was mentioned even though he really didn't need to, considering he was already identified as the "Bothan". Placing a hand on his belt he gives the group a once over, two Humans and a Zabrak. One of them clearly was incharge or lead or what have you this small group. "Well I suggest getting us up to speed fast day light is burning."

Re: Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

Following Varis into the room, having covered the rear watching to see if they have been followed, enters the Gran she meantioned.  The three-eyed, goat-faced alien turns with a fluttering of the hemm of his long duster.  The coat is made from the same soft, heavy fabric used to make all-temperature cloaks.  Only his cloak has been fashioned into a coat with sleeves.  And noticable to anyone who's no fool is a bulge under each arm indicative of packing heat.  The large, obvious bulge of a concealed heavy blaster is a hallmark of the bodyguard who's employer clearly wants it known that she has a bodyguard.

His three eyes move around on independent stalks.  Their black, pupiless eyes slide over everyone else in the room.  It's hard to tell if they're looking at people or through them.  "I take it something happened during the night?  It would explain why your employer seemed so eager to hire me when I meantioned I see perfectly at night.", asks the Gran.

Re: Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

Aadun turned and looked over at the new people that Varis had hired.  He was pleasantly surprised to see a Bothan since he had spent a bit of time on their home planet after he left the colony.  So, he smiled and said, "Hello.  I suppose I should start from the beginning, even though I may not know everything that is going on."

"We were hired in Nar Shadda in order to bring about a chance in rulership here on Ryloth.  The mission parameters were to speak with the children of Ziveri and prepare them for the dissolution of the Distombe Clan's rulership so that they could take advantage of the situation.  We have already met with both Brill and Sinya.  Brill does not wish to work with his sister, Sinya since women are considered second class citizens here.  I had been working on a way to bring Brill around and I'm not sure where we are on that front currently.  Sinya was concerned about what method we would use to bring down the Distombe Clan."

"The easiest option would have been to kill one of the members of the current ruling party.  She does not wish to take part in this if we go through that method, so we have been searching for a less violent option.  The easiest way to do that is to have them declared traiterous, so I have been working on a way to do that as well and have already begun working on a plan."

"With the Imperials implementing a quarantine on the planet and an attack on our previous location the other night things haven't exactly been going to plan.  Anyway, I believe that that is the gist of what is going on.  If anybody has anything to add or any corrections to make, feel free."

Re: Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

The idea of the proving the current rulers as traitorious he found rather funny to be honest. This is due in part to his original line of work being in a field that rather closely followed that line. Heck he was even trained by the bothan spy net to do that sort of thing more or less. "To be honest, finding out peoples dirty secrets was something I used to do rather effectively."

Re: Mission to Ryloth Part I - Day 4

"I did manage to discover something interesting about Sinya, but I have to confirm it to be sure." Kala said, as she nodded to Aadun. "We need to bring the siblings together, those were the orders from Orn. He doesn't want his brothers having any part in the decisions about the city. There has to be something we can offer Brill to get him to agree to the whole thing, and some other kind of incentive we could offer Sinya to convince her that doing this is for the good of the planet."

"I'm Kala Jorn, by the way. I work on the negotiations, and the piloting of the ship, along with other things." She said. There was something in the air, some kind of sweet smell that seemed to be coming from her, making her seem all the friendlier. She ran her hand through her reddish hair, and nodded. "Sorry I didn't get dressed up for this meeting, I wasn't expecting visitors."
