- How did a backwater town preacher manage to gain the ability to do magic and summons beasties from other planes?

- What is his motive for all this? If it was about the election, and Solomon was already so popular, why would he need to have the creature attack and kill Earl?

- Who is Reverend Paul (reverend_paul@commonpath.org), and how involved in all of this were the Fellowship of the Common Path Church?

- Frank's Hot Dog Shaque, in Knox Hill - Maybe a favourite with the local kids? Does the killer stake-out this place looking for possible victims?

- St. Elizabeths Hospital, north of Congress Hill - What is this hospital to the killer? Is it a workplace? Was he a former patient?

- Mr. Monday - The first killing takes place on a Monday. Is there a link there?

- "Abmayid", relevance unknown - backwards spells Diyamba - Possibly something from another language? Or an anagram?

Locations seem to have a pattern, diagonally across DC from North West to South East.
