Oh that sounds like lots of fun. You guys are dedicated enough that I won't worry too much about posting rates until after the holidays. For now just post when you get a chance and try not to stress out too much!

Update: Someone in one of my other games said that Tobias slipped on ice and broke his leg, and won't be able to post for at least a week. Get well soon!!

Sorry about the delay in posting, this time of year is always so busy. I'm going to be away for Christmas, so probably won't be posting again until early January.

I reckon that we should all make a New Years resolution to get things properly moving again then.

I was going to post a reply to the sheriff, but I wasn't sure what to tell him. Are we still pretending to be from Tyson? Just to get my story straight, are we claiming to be trying to find this beast so we can put it down before it attacks any Tyson cows?

Everyone has believed your story so far, so you don't worry about blowing your cover or anything. The story that Burns gave you is that you are there to investigate the death of the workers and ensure the safety of the cows, but really, you can interpret that to mean whatever you like.

Are we moving on, or are we waiting for Adele? I don't mind waiting if she specifically asked us to, but I'd rather keep things moving so we don't lose the renewed momentum we've had since the New Year.

First of all, Battlestar Galactica has a funny way of sucking up an afternoon you thought you were going to spend posting, so sorry about that :)

Here's how combat is going to work: The three of you can post your actions, first come first served. At the bottom of your post, please state any important information (HP, Def, Ammo, and ongoing effects at a minimum) as well as any rolls you made in the round. After all of you have posted or after two days, whichever comes first, I will post a summary of the enemy's actions as well as any NPCs.

You are in light woods with no penalty due to trees or darkness. Small trees are readily available and can provide you with 1/4 cover. To find anything with better cover than that you need to roll a Tactics check per the House Rules thread. The bad guys' actions were to move into position and shoot McGray's radio, so you may now all post.

Hey guys, just a word of warning. I start my new job sometime this week (hopefully tomorrow, but that's kind of a long story). I don't expect it to affect my post rate, but then again it's also my first 9-5 (or maybe 8-5:30, I'm still not sure yet), so I won't know for sure until I start. At a minimum, I won't be able to post in the middle of the day or the middle of the night like I used to! Again, I still expect to be able to post at least once a day, but if I don't you'll know why.


In other news, expect some XP shortly, as soon as I figure out how much it is :)

Tell me about it. I worked for a company once where we were all working stupid hours just to keep the thing afloat. I remember our accountant ended up working 7am to 11pm shifts on average, she was having minor nervous breakdowns every week, yelling at people threatening to quit. It was a nightmare.

Eventually we stopped it when someone came to work with us, and told us we should just start working our contracted hours. People started going home at 5.30/6pm as they were supposed to, and lo and behold, management hired more staff to cope with the shortfall.

Good luck with the extra work, and don't let the bastards take the piss.
