OOC Sadness

A member of the adoptive line of the Golden warrior is coming close to crossing the bridge to meet the Valkyries after 14 long years...  :(

Re: OOC Sadness

Sometimes its hard to know what to say.

Long years are better then short but when they are with you that long you have more emotion bound up with them so it often hurts more.

Re: OOC Sadness

Ebon passed over, over the weekend.  It is sad, but at least he isn't suffering any longer.  He was a rather proud guy for quite some time.  It was hard seeing him have trouble getting around, although he insisted at times to try anyway.  He didn't like being stuck in one place.  He'd rather be outside and uncomfortable than in the house and comfortable, if he wasn't free to go in and out.  In the last days he did spend more time inside though.  He even paused the let me pick him up and carry him inside so he didn't have to walk himself.

Re: OOC Sadness

It is sad, but even for animals having someone who cares makes suffering easier to bear. So in the end his being home made things better.

Re: OOC Sadness

T.J. seems different, a bit more social.  He is far more intent on getting in the house now.  I've seen the neighbor Radar, come by a couple times to check if there is extra food out.
