I just posted a request for a Mord replacement in players wanted.  This is the first time I've ever done anything like this on RPoL, so I don't know what to expect.  I'll keep you all posted.

In the mean time start planning (out loud - preferably in character) and make your next move for the Tome.  Don't wait on the new player.

Wow that was fast!  We have a new character joining the group, Farden Triplefang.  I'll introduce him into the plot as soon as we get stuff like a character sheet and description.

A new player will be taking control of Mord, but Mord will now be legendary CON instead of STR.

Please welcome both of our new players.  :-)

Glumr's player is under the weather today.  If someone else wants to fill Farden in on what little you know, that would be good.  You can go back to the room if you don't want to discuss it out in the public dinning hall.

Just so the new people know, the game often slows down on the weekends.  Feel free to check and post, but don't be surprised if there's not much activity.  We do most of our posting M-F.

I spent two days writing a 15-page report on cash optimization. And I have end-terms this Monday. So not much of a Thanksgiving... but then we don't celebrate that here anyway =P

That wasn't too rough... about par for the course. I'm just looking forward to the week-long vacation once the exams are over.

Don't worry it won't affect my posting - I can't remember the last time I was properly prepared for an exam anyway =P

Had to do a double take there for a moment to figure who Farden was talking about, dont mind me, i thought it was funny at the time.

I thought that was funny too.  I am in the know.

(Snow's cranky nature should not be mistaken for Player cranky behaviour.  She's just really easy to offend, and has a long memory for holding grudges.  She still has no intention of sending Mord out for shopping if she has any other options to use.  =P )

Wait... the whole reason I was suggesting snow do this is it's a diplomacy check, which is charisma....

Meaning, she'd have a knack at such things our characters would observe.

I thought we were just going to roll for that check and the 'gift' would be just whatever...  from the abstract.

If we roll play it (according to Fritz) it's not a diplomacy check, it's the GM discretionary if the proctor likes it or not.


All that being said, I'm still (or Glumr is) leaving up to Snow.  ;)
