An ivitation from Miroslav

A month or so has passed since the incidents in Kiev with the Knyaz and the Prince. The party returned to Khorsun nearly three weeks ago and have had a chance to settle in.

Each of you receive an invitation from Miroslav to both a feast and an important business proposition. The invitation does not go into any more details than that but from what you know about Miroslav, he is not one to exaggerate.

When you approach the estate of Miroslav near the center of the city, you can see that his wife Masha has had her hand in the preparation for the feast. Rather than a plain cold entrance, the gate has been decorated and several of Miroslav's many children greet you at the entrance and show you to the main hall where Mash waits to greet you. Miroslav is not there as of yet.

Re: An ivitation from Miroslav

Since his time at the Shrine of Veles in Kiev, there has been something different about Loukas. It is not simply that he is clearly a better skilled Brother of The Bearded God, but he seemed to be paying more attention to things like plants than he'd ever done before. Which is to say that he actually paid attention to plants as they traveled, whereas before he was clearly a city boy only interested in bread rather than the wheat from which it came... Not to mention things like mistletoe.

Once they returned from Kiev he spent most of the with Zmija, but not at the temple. Instead they spent the time at the lands Zmija took outside the city. Miroslav's invitation came just as Loukas was getting ready to re-enter the city for the first time since he returned, so he was pleased at the opportunity to reconnect with his friends and to see the city that has become his home.

When he arrived at Miroslav's the changes that seem to have been overcoming him since Kiev appear to have jelled. His wispy beard is not much less wispy, but it is clearly a permanent affectation. Over a white silk rubakha and pants tucked into boots he wears black, knee-length svita with a pattern of vine wrapped dragons of grey silken thread woven into it. A broad black cloth belt tightens the svita around his upper and lower torso permitting him to move with ease despite the luxuriousness of the cloth, but beyond that does not wear any armor. Otherwise, he wears the Knyaz's amulet, around which has been woven mistletoe, and bears his sword, but no other weapons.

When the children greet him he smiles and hands them each a bag of candies he had picked up on the way through the city to the house and a big hug and beautiful selection of wild flowers he'd assembled himself to their mother.
