Masha, acting as Regent in her husbands absence calls for Heinrich to come to th throne room. She waits patiently with her son Medved also in attendance.

Heinrich comes in, dressed to blend into the court. The average looking man bows, and waits to see what happens next. He stands still, but his eyes roam all over the room. He acknowledges Medved with an almost imperceptible nod after his bow.

The wife of Miroslav nods her head in greeting towards Heinrich..."We have received word of an emisarry from and important deposed Roman general heading to discuss matters of state with the Voivod, my husband. From what we have learned he is traveling along the eastern coast of the Euxine Sea and willa rrive here within the week. What I want is for you and my SOn Medved along with a few selct troops to go out and meet him on the road and make sure he gets here safely. You will leave immediately."

Heinrich's head tilts to the side slightly as he listens. He thinks for a second, and then asks, "Deposed general? So who exactly does he represent now?"

After waiting for an answer and not receiving one, Heinrich nods his head, and then asks another question,"Do we know if he is being pursued?"

"The general is in exile, this emisarry still represents him as for being followed, we have no idea. We do know he travels alone."

She looks at Medved and says..."Now the two of you...be off!"

Medved nods at his mother then turns to Heinrich and says..."It looks like we are going to have a bit of adventure ourselves!"

The young man is clearly excited as he ushers the German from the room.

Heinrich and Medved make great time leaving the city and heading east on the coastal road. Four men at arms ride along with them, all capable men.

Within a few days travel towards evening they see a small encampment that looks to be a single knight setting up a tent with the aid of a young man.

Heinrich looks at Medved and asks, "How do you want to handle this? You want to do the talking? And do you want to let them know who you are just yet?"

As he speaks, his eyes roam around the camp ahead, looking for any others nearby and spots for concealment.
