Max whistled to himself as he left the barracks, cleaning his sword with a cloth as he did so to remove any moisture, oil, or other taint from the blade.

He walked through the streets to the familar Archives, and once inside look up information on the Chalybis and Telluratus, with particular attention to any entities that would not be on Chalybis's will.


Master Divine:

QUESTION: 'What is the Eye of Ra?'
ANSWER: The Eye of Ra is the greatest tracking and assassination creature the Conclave has access to. Created by the few remaining Sorcerers of Alkan (a Type I species under Conclave Law and part of the Council), it is a powerful spirit made manifest within gold. The spirit, aided by Earthborn tracking, surveillance, information and 'wave technology, can hunt any target and destroy any foe. It is much feared among the black occult circles of the Realm Supernatural, as it is said the Eye takes especial interest in devouring rogue magicians.

Both Max and Clavius are within the Barracks of the Third Point.

Ruse soon finds himself back outside the Barracks, eyed suspiciously by the soldiers guarding out front. As he wanders over, however, there is a crack of light (forbidden volcanoes - a betrayal - rebellion - casinos - lights everywhere - urban warfare, god of chance) and something is thrown into existence. It has the body of a dragon, with feathered wings, and the face of a chicken, scaled lightly. From Ruse's readings, he recognized the creature as a cockatrice.. a being that killed with it's gaze!

The Cockatrice screeched, glared at a handful of soldiers, and they froze, forever trapped in stone. It's back was turned to Ruse.

Jeez, MD. Out of all the High Gods associated with the conclave, the harvest happens to attack one that intends to attack Chaly.


He gave explicit orders to attack a High God. Since you were the only High God within 'attacking' range..

@Tyche: The SUIT's analysis happened at roughly the same time. By the time it'd found Max, he WAS inside the barracks; his post came second. Your rank-up was one of those weird problems that came up that I can't remember ever doing, but it's fixed now - I wouldn't presume that you wanted to rank up Divinity anyway.

Woa guys!

I said it once and I'll say it again: CHECK the RECORDS page often. It is not MD's job to let us know when we have spare degrees. It's just his job to update them correctly. We then have to go to him and tell him of our request - assuming we aren't choosing to bank the degrees instead.

And Tyche, I do think your title might well be the longest, lol!

Yeah, and I think I made an honest mistake with Tyche, sorry.

Anyway - the titles all have some relevance to you in game. It shouldn't be that hard to figure out. For example, Tyche's title "King without a Kingdom" refers to the fact that he doesn't rule over his own Realm, and the Sacred Seal thing is a nod to him invading Crailek's tower.

Oh, and one other thing: this is OOC, and I found Max's witticism to be refreshing. I care about his preteen dramas. I will decide what is appropriate and what is not - "1: Noone cares about your pre-teen drama." is just uncool. Be nice, guys.

I hope you aren't counting me in. I don't even know what the heck is going on. I might like this God of Industry. After all, if he can make me an awesome pair of rapiers, I could even be friends for eternity. :) I love friends who make me cool things.


Excellent, now I also have a physically capable soon-to-be-minion. Tyche fills the role of 'sneaky bastard' and 'court wizard', whilst you can be the 'dragon'. Of course, I'm the Big Bad so you would have to pledge loyalty to Chalybis and agree to commit genocide on the Systemarchs and more of that evil stuff. :P
