Crailek had fully recovered; he hadn't felt this good in ages.

((I'm assuming my arm has grown back, that means?))

Crailek pushes himself up into a standing position, be it with one hand or two, and nods to Foun. "Let's head there presently, and rebuild then."

Foun hadn't found twenty of his people, let alone fifty; he'd need to search for longer if he wished to gather such a force.

Crailek's arm has fully regenerated.

Soon, many more of these strange creatures had come, following Foun. There were easily fifty.

He travels north remembering to keep his eyes open to observe all that is within the isle and of course he speaks to crailek. What do you think of the events transpiring so far? What of this funeral?

Crailek follows closely, looking around as well, though more at the sky, then the landscape. "I find the funeral... troubling, to say the least. The claim is made that I knew this Balverstus closely, or perhaps know. As I have no memories of this, I fear perhaps I am not alone in the domain of Crailek, God of Shadows. Or Perhaps I met with him without my own knowledge, which is also troubling. Either way, things don't look too positive. What of your views on it?"

He holds up his hand, Let us set up camp! He begans looking for shelter, In truth crailek the funeral confuses me as well there is not much I understand about the situation except for that I believe there may be a great portion of memory we no longer hold that involved our relationships with this entity. ... For example the fact that my invitation claims that we are already married. Strange since I have no memory of us ever succeeding in having a ceremony... Yet I have that ring... So were we wed? Why would we not remember it? What is so important that large periods of time in my memory are black?

Crailek drops suddenly to the floor as he is wracked with the strangest memory. When he recovers, only a single phrase is caught within his mind:

There is a cherry bush and it is sacred to us.

Crailek pushes himself back up onto his feet and frowns. "Well, no clue. Something about a cherry bush, apparently." Crailek raises an eyebrow, and then tries to recall more of the memory if he can.

A cherry ... bush... He closes his eyes for reasons he can see cherry blossoms, but that would seem a different memory. Opening his eyes he looks forward to the north, The kingdom of kol-shoon the people the nekos that I wish to revive knew of every plant and tree on the island they would know where cherry bushes grow. The lighthouse should once restored bring back the power of nature to the island. Although the storms will not be tamed until we restore the lighthouse of wind, but at least the grass will be green again. I warn you now crailek this will be no easy feat, surely fate will see to it that the task of restoring the lighthouse will not be easy.

The lighthouse would be no easy feat to restore. Foun new that it require extremely powerful magiscientific energies simply to reignite it, let alone keep it lit..

Re: (Foun) The Lesser Isles of Penta

He remembered that the essence of souls had been used in the end when he... no Penta had put the isle to sleep. He couldn't do that again, not to his people. First things first the lighthouse design. Here he decided to sit and rest asking the people to go fetch drink and food for nourishment if they could find it if they could not they should nourish themselves the best they could. Then he turned to crailek, If I remember the lighthouse was empowered by the essence of nature and in turn empowered nature itself. Let's see I built it or penta did, I wonder if I can remember the design... He meditated upon it for a moment he needed to remember the base design of course there was the temple quarters and such where the nekos worshipped the earth element they represented. He tried to remember the science though he remembered that the earth lighthouse drew on the elemental essence of earth that there was an 'orb' that powered it... He remembered the years he spent carving the guardians of the orb and the way he spent sweating over the creation of the top of the lighthouse... He needed to remember these things.

Yes, Penta remembered the design.. but where, now, was the Orb of Nature? A flash, a memory returned - the majestic Guardians of the Lighthouse smashed like terracotta soldiers - a beast responsible - something greater, something mad - the Orb taken..

But where?

Re: (Foun) The Lesser Isles of Penta

Yes the beast in the sea, the shell that protected my island I remember now... Crailek it would seem the orb of nature may have been taken by the mad gods. I may have to call up some... old contacts. He tried to remember it all his journey to madness and the masters he had along the way. This was a path he did not want to take again there was something dangerous and uncertain to it, but he would find that orb. Sitting down he began to meditate on the memories and think. Crailek what do you think? How should we continue? Do you think the mad ones would have allowed the orb to stay here? Very likely they would have taken it and the others all with them to another place... but where the memories are so vague.

Re: (Foun) The Lesser Isles of Penta

Crailek frowns thoughtfully, and sits across from Foun. "Well, there may be another place they could be. As we have seen from the funeral, we existed past when we can remember. It's possible we still exist now, is it not? I remember I had the orb of Flame. It could be that I still have it... just not, you know, me. Based on what I would do, I have a few ideas of where I could find myself. But as for Nature, and the other orbs, I am unsure. I no longer feel the connection to the Madness as I once did. I am finding it quite hard to think as one now."
He looks around at the surroundings, and at the water. "You mentioned a beast in the Sea. Could it not be there?"

(Crailek gets scarily clever points)

It could be there. The sea was certainly large enough. But would the Beast still be alive.. ?

Very likely and other me? I would not think so I didn't die and be returned I left and returned from outside the world tree although I will admit I do not remember what passed during that time, but would you think there really is another me here? It was possible vague memories of giving the shards of elements to other gods he trusted... Still where would he be? With his ambitions and goals he could think of only two possibilities one made him wonder... the other worried him. The sea seems likely we should go to the western part of the isle karakia is there and although in ruin there should at least one boat in the entire harbor we could salvage. The worry was definitly something that would make him cautious.

Crailek shrugs to Foun, and stands back up, brushing himself off. "Well, with everything you have seen in your life, do you truly doubt the possibility that there is another us? I certainly believe it. Especially with certain messages the Conclave are sending us. The most recent has convinced me of this idea, in fact. It gives me a good idea of where to look, as well... But for now, yes, let us go and see what we can salvage. The sooner we complete this task, the better, I feel." He stretches, and looks to the west.

In truth that worries me... Standing up he stretched motioning for his people to stay there. Search the village ruins collect anything of interest you find try to salvage the buildings and if you find anything that provides the DNA of the lost nekos you may absorb it. Although make sure only fifty people absorb it the rest must not absorb any DNA. There must be enough left over to absorb the DNA of the other sleeping species of the isle. He nods to crailek and motions that they get going.

Ah, yes DNA it's the base structure of all living things... it is the building blocks of life. Your kind aren't you sleeping? DNA I would guess is what would 'awaken' your true potential. Although he gets a feeling that this knowledge was not something he should know, but perhaps because he is their god and they are his people he is connected to them.

"Dee Enn Ay.." said the creature, mimicking Foun slowly. It made no other comment. It was obvious that mastery over biology was beyond these people, at this time.
