Hierophantasm Ruse the Second, Zealous God of Mist:
Your Theo can follow an established "canon," or it can also be a stand-along thing like Fantasia or Eo.

Alright, I get this and I'm pretty much doing a 'canon', but I would like to know a little more of 'perfect detail' about what happened. After all, I'd like to be able to bright-light and red carpet some player Gods, but I'd also like to know where/when/how/who 'killed' Cthulhu.

Re: OOCIII: Return of the OOC

I've heard references of Cthulhu being 'killed' or as close as could be in the Theo games. I just don't know who or what, and don't really care which time just mainly who/what/how.

Hmm.. For the life of me, I can't remember.
I remember the time I crushed Osiris-Ra to death with my realm, though...

Lessee.. killed cthulhu... Was it Metatron?

*claps for himself* I'm getting a little bit of time to work on my game. Hopefully I won't run people off with my idea, hopefully creative, for the Theo-verse as far as generating Rulers/Gods.

Re: OOCIII: Return of the OOC

One thing I've learned is that "canon" sometimes contradicts itself. In many ways, Dust is canon and rebirth is a huge out of control spin-off. Yet in other ways it's canon.

Laerad was meant to be a branch-off that was still canonical. I'm almost glad I shelved it because there's a lot of good stuff I want to incorporate into it from dust as well as rebirth.

Re: OOCIII: Return of the OOC

To what? The funeral?

EDIT: Can someone PLEASE tell me what it means when, in my dream, all my friends (and a lot of other people) are hanging from nooses, long dead and decaying, and I am using their corpses to swing from one to the next in order to reach my goal- a room- and in that room there is a clock on the shelf, and I try to stop the clock, but I knock it down and it shatters, and then the dream ends. (There was also wine and candles on the shelf- one wine bottle being much smaller than the one next to it)

It means you lost the level because you didn't reach the clock in time. Better luck next time! :)

Note that dreams might not mean anything.

However, if you want an analysis, all you can do is interpret the best you can. Depending on what your going through irl right now it could mean a number of things. The fact that your friends are dead could mean general anxiety over losing them. However i would imagine that it could be you doing whatever it takes to achieve your goals, even if you have to step over your friends to get there. The fact that your swinging from them might mean your using them and perhaps you feel guilty about it? The clock could just be chronophobia. It could also be that time is running out to achieve something? Perhaps why your abusing your friendships? Stopping the clock is a clear sign that you dont want things to progress. As for the wine and candles, it might indicate a romance?

This is all just speculation. Take what you will from this.

Re: OOCIII: Return of the OOC

I agree with Sura. Dream analysis is not a solid psychoilogical field. There is a lot we don't understand about sleep and the issues surround sleep like dreams and what not. However, the more common belief is that dreams are "whispers" from the subconscious mind. Sometimes they have very clear meanings, and other times they have either obscure meanings, or things are so convoluted by the original mixture of concepts that the original meaning is lost. Other times, dreams are a form of stress release...they call dreaming "nature's therepist."

Personally, I do not dream. If I do dream, then they seek to keep their secrets from me and as such I am ensured I will never take their meaning in any way.

Re: OOCIII: Return of the OOC

It was a really creepy dream.. I can't believe my mind knows what dead bodies look like in such detail.

It was also different form almost all my dreams in that it had me as the central person.. I'm usually not in my dreams.

Yeah.. I recently had an abrupt change in my social circle, hanging out with a different group of people, after I lost someone I loved.

Re: OOCIII: Return of the OOC

Desafon if you want I can send you a very long winded biography of foun and all his past incarnations and so forth ask anik and others about my mastery of my own personal character plot. What I love is actually with much teeth pulling and creativity spent and other painfully exhausting tasks managed to make it as canon as possible.
*phew*

Anyway onto dream stuffs although this may mean nothing and I do oh I do beg that you don't take anything I say to heart unless you feel it connects and only I swear to the heavens only if it connects. (Mostly because I don't want anyone nagging me for putting my nose in here and using my pagan mumbo jumbo to analyze someone's dreams and sending them down a path they never wanted or felt was right for them)

So now that that is said and that is that this is my pagan mumbo jumbo for the dream and unweaving it in the way that I unweave mine.

The dead bodies are relationships, some you ignore others you abuse in one way or another you distance them from yourself and from the truth of how you feel for them. The death of these relationships brings you to the room which is your heart. Time is running out for you and you want to stop it you want to go back, but there is no way when the clock breaks so does your reality. In these shards of perception you are awakened because sometimes it takes calamity make one's eyes open to truth and possibly to love. To see all that there is to see to know what you need to know your cage of faith must be broken and you must lose everything in order to gain.

Once again mumbo jumbo
choose to take it or leave it either way I won't be offended.

ha, I'm not mad, just chastising ^_^ You don't have to post if you don't want to, i just thought you would want to play a fun little side game that walks you through how Chaos works. I would always take an Eo post, too. Either one is nice.

Sorry working on the settings and rules update for eo
><
I feel bad enough that it's taken me so long to do that after all
also I will go ahead and post in there simply because it does look interesting and I could use a little distraction although in truth a post in kookhe wouldn't kill you either

Re: OOCIII: Return of the OOC

Guys, guys, there's enough of me to go around : )

I'm working on a bit of setting at the moment - specifically, the Ten Councilman/Species/Worlds of Weight. So, at some point, expect some cool stuff.

Also..

What the FUCK did you guys do to the Funeral? It took me half an hour to figure that out! Damn!

Oh, and if there's any information - links, game names, etc - for the competition you want to pass me, do that now : )

EDIT: And I'm closing this and making a new thread. There you are, Ruse : )
