All: Who is Hisru? Is it Oracle/Trium, or is it Msonus? Those are the only two I can think of who speak oracular utterances.

Max: I'd have preferred you be called Maxine, but as someone who also had a female character for a day in rebirth (Oceania), I overall am amused by your situation. On the plus side though, you are on the hero path again.

Also, I'd prefer that you DONT destabilize the conclave or anything like that for quite some time. I realize there is a lot of anti-conclave sentiment here, but there are some of us who are investing our time and energy in it too though, and it wouldn't be fair to just screw it over right away so arbitrarily.

Plus, you a lot has happened already so it is fine if you let things cool down. We already are dealing with osiris-ra, sura, and other cultist activity right now. I really think you should leave the emperor and stuff alone for now.

PS: I'm sick, my class was cancled, my grades/ability to sign up for new classes are on hold since I didn't pay for my class... which was cancled! My work scheduled me to work every day cept Mon(we closed) and Sat(was suppost to have my class then). I've GAINED weight while trying to lose weight (and its fat, took a BCM). Going through withdraw from my pill since I forgot to take it yesterday. And I'm sick and have a headach... so FML right now, yes I'm a bit pissy at the moment.

About the Conclave...there is no reason that it should be destroyed purely on arbitrary reasons, especially since players are investing their time and energy into it. Now if it was a pure antagonist or something, sure it could eventually destabilize due to plot reasons to give players opportunities to do whatever, but the fact of the matter is that the conclave is NOT a PURE antagonistic force. If anything, it only appears to be right now but as cults and stuff are explored and revealed more in-depth, we'll find that there are a lot bigger fish to fry.

I think that down the road...a LONG way down the road, little plot things should happen of course. But generally this sort of thing should be player-driven, like Anik eloquently mentioned before. Players should be able to (eventually) destroy the conclave, but other players should also equally be able to stabilize it, bolster it, and help it survive through their actions too.

So Nat, please don't destroy it on a whim.

The real problem for me with destroying the conclave is simply what is going to replace it as the "god organisation"?  If the conclave is destroyed but a significant percentage of its resources end up as another organisation then it isn't so much of a problem.  If the conclave isn't replaced then one of the biggest motivators so far this game will be gone.

Additionally the quicker the conclave dies the more need there's going to be to allow joining the cults so I would say you can't destroy the conclave till after the cults are fully outlined.  Also the conclave does have a higher tiers which you seem to have thought through so again unless you transfer that all that work will be lost.

However I do recognise that you're probably itching to destroy the conclave from a story point of view.
