Shifting Master Ruse the Second, Zealous God of Mist:
Also, unless you are absolutely purposeful in striking against the experienced people, we sort of have an unwritten rule saying we don't pick on the new characters. At least not kill them anyway. We like to fatten you up first. :)
Heh. First week of playing, Max comes into my realm and challenges me to a duel. Max had meant that for good reasons, but he still meant to challenge me. :)
As for the DM saying we all break rules... I have not ever broken a rule. Unless you count my 'Unknown' character. But nobody knew he broke the rules except the GMs. In fact, pretty much nobody knew I even existed outside of being either an NPC or a DM until I broke the silence when the game was over. :)
EDIT: Also, further note, I spent 2 degrees to
1) Be the first to Ferocious and...
2) Because I was seriously hoping that it would put me on some sort of balanced ground with the magic-based people. I mean, yeah they can blow up entire lands or something or other before even the tier/rank 4 in magic, but I was kind of hoping that being a rank (5? 6?) in Fighting/Melee would be some sort of marvelous.
