Yea Unknown had RL problems after that. They were left in his room filled with stuff he stole. I haven't determined what happened to them.

Heh. Yeah, I was Unknown and I did 'steal' the Merits. I do apologize, it was Mencius not Saragh whom tried to kill them (I think). And I did keep them, since I figured I might have been able to change their allegiance to me. But, at the same time, I had mainly saved them for the sake of saving them. Figured they might make good thieves/informants.

Trium didn't seem particularly tasty. Admittedly, he'd make a great iron supplement for some hapless titan having her period or something.

As god of Food, I think I should field this one. The answer is pretty much limited to... well, not much. Not much at all.

But Merits are best :P

It feels good to finish a school assignment, even if it is 11 days late.
I'm far too good at procrastinating, when I've managed to keep the teacher from noticing so far.

Hmm. I'm thinking of starting to post IC again soon. Lots of stuff still needs doing. Just been tired of life recently.

Technically Max was the "nail in the coffin" for the merits. A good 20% of merits were going to escape Mencuis and flee into the woods, but max (as dragon) did a divine flare (which they were told would alert the great old ones and basically be like painting a bulls eyes) and so he called the Great Old ones to destroy the realm... and all the remaining merits.

The only living merits were saved by Florah and Unknown, who got about 4 each. Mencuis on the other hand got hundreds of undead merits.

Mencius was really quick with the pickling though. He did it right, and those babies are still very edible today. They fetch a high price, but for that kind of quality food... its worth it.

Saragh never tried to kill anything at a species level!  He was the only one who succeed in doing it you understand but he didn't try to!

BTW, whomever is running Reboot (sorry, I forgot already)... who are the main six?

EDIT: Oh! Bollocks! I posted in the wrong thread. Sorry, any way to simply move that post to the Marketplace?

Yea, you copy, and paste your post where it is supposed to go, and then delete the old one.

Also...I think the big 6 are: Oceanus, Saragh, Ragnar, Aidan/Nadia, Trium, and Mencuis. The Unknown is also ascended, but is probably doing everything in its power to hide from Oceanus, of whom is his natural predator despite ascension.

Heh. Hiding from Oceanus? Knowing Unknown (as I should, having been the player), he was probably busy trying to find whatever Mad Gods and/or Mad God Items he can in order to increase the power of his cult/people.

And, yeah, I just read up on the game and... its awesome. I RTJ'd just a few mins ago.

Also, I'll be copy, paste, repeating on the Market. :)

Oceanus, especially ascended, can individually take on and win against great old ones now. As an inquisitor, he has huge bonuses against madness - which means the unknown. Oceanus himself also had - quite frankly - an overkill in the detection department. He is probably the only one as of the end of rebirth who could counter both unknowns hiding thing and saragh's reality distortion thing (which is how he didn't insta-die in the arena fight).

If you were there and not awol from the game, oceanus actually would have been able to backtrack you to whatever realms you were hiding in (he had an item that boosted his inquistor mad-hunting ability). Then he'd have eaten you with his sword. :P

For once...you being in stasis was a good thing for your character. :P

Re: OOC VII: In the End she Dies

I understand, though at the end with the battle, I was present. Almost assisted the fellow Gods, but figured... to heck with it. I'll sit on the sidelines and see if I can salvage anything from the battle. :) Of course, my memory might be fuzzy on if I did that or just stayed in the trenches.

Does anyone know if it difficult to get a new character portrait accepted?
I can see the conditions for submission, and am worried especially about c) Must have permission to use, however so many of the images that are already there I know they would not have got permission for.

Re: OOC VII: In the End she Dies

Heh, just read through parts of Reboot. Brings back good memories. I look forward to seeing who the other PC gods get portrayed in their type descriptions.

Btw, for the record, I was constantly rooting for Saragh to kick all kinds of ass. Even though his and Trium's relationship was complicated (kept trying to kill each other, never really hated each other, none of their conversations went quite right or completely wrong), he was one of the best and most creative players I've ever witnessed. Which is why I'm so annoyed that I can't think of a decent idea to join his game with.

Looking back at the list, I am surprised by how many of the gods I'd forgotten about, who were really interesting to play beside. For everyone that was a part of that game, you did a great job.

Re: OOC VII: In the End she Dies

*snickers* I still remember Aramanthing an individual in the rubble and I had a certain percent chance it was Florah instead of Ragnar. I still only got a lower ability (to either intimidate or control Animals to a certain extent), but I was like 'WOW! I aramanth'd Ragnar'. That and I never died even once. :) Unknown was awesome, but I won't go into his powers. I still think Oceanus would have a hard time hitting Unknown. Unknown was quick and very difficult to get a weapon to hit.

I'll either be going Saragh's type or Unknown's type. :) I loved the concept of the Mad God.

Re: OOC VII: In the End she Dies

It'll be interesting to see what Saragh did with hell.  Creator - any chance you could move hell to group 0 in rebirth - let people see what I was actually up to in hell?

Anyway glad I succeeded in my one major aim.  No more daemon summoning in reboot!

and Hirsu - Saragh always saw Trium as one of the gods he could deal with on fairly reasonable terms (Unlike Oceanus who managed by talking about celestia (just doing that triggers an uncontrolled rage in a devil which is why I went all angry at him) and trying himself to soul destroyers (Saragh didn't approve of killing for the sake of killing)).  Oceanus was just lucky the game ended when it did.  He'd never have been able to leave Aquaria again or Saragh would have turned it into hell.
