Re: Possibilities
Hi all,

We have another player joining us in Taverns, a cleric.  With all the DM problems in RoA at the moment, our friendly Cleric of Tempus is joining us from another region.

Will have the XPs later tonight.

Re: Possibilities
Newbie question time...

Where do we maintain and update our character sheet?  Is there a place online where we do that, or do we keep up with it locally?

If it is kept up with locally, what do you find works well for you?

Re: Possibilities
I let you keep your own sheet up to date under you character.  I set up the sheets so that they are player editable.  That way you keep them up.

If you have any problem getting to it, let me know and I will check it out for you.

Re: Possibilities
The list is a summary, it's not a suggestion of how to split it. I'm not sure it would be fair for Korgan to get two +2 things (although who am I to complain :))

Re: Possibilities
Scout, I'm still not able to get to my character sheet.

And I have a procedures question.  Let's say that I suspected that Vaargurr wasn't really a half-orc1, but was actually under some sort of appearance changing magic and I wanted to surreptitiously cast...let's say Detect Magic.  Do I send a private message to Scout and the people I wish to clue in?  Or do I do it here in the thread, clicking the "private to:" boxes?

1 - I don't actually suspect this, it's just an example, although I have been caught by surprise by doppelgangers more than the average roleplayer and now am so suspicious by nature that I ask my wife obscure questions about our history together just to make sure.

Re: Possibilities
Hi all,

You are really moving fast, faster than this old DM can keep up with. ;)

With respect to detect magic, the caster is the only one that can see the results of the spell.  Then the only thing you have to worry about, is the local barbarians offended by your overt use of magic?

It would be much different if you were trying to detect alignment, not much way to hide that.

If you think about it for a moment, there is an open way to do your check and not offend anyone.  Can you figure it out?

I will look at the character sheet later tonight, I have a meeting to go to in about 10 minutes.

Thanks

Re: Possibilities
OK, Merka,

It should be fixed now, I had to recopy your CS back into the system.  Just click character details to get to your sheet.  Or you can click on your name on a post on the left side of the post.  You should be able to get to edit character sheet.

Hope this reaches you in good health,

Scout

It's now working.  Thanks, Scout.

And, yes, I'm in good health.  I think.  Do you know something I don't know?  Have you been reading my mail again?
