hey, when you get the chance to put up my character sheet, please use my latest from the taverns.  It's updated for cash etc.

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

Good point!

If anyone has changes to make to their PC sheets, please do so ASAP over in Taverns, before I move them over here (I will move them here sometime Tuesday morning, Eastern Stanard Time).

Thanks!

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

Taverns XPs:

In RoA, we give out XPs for posting, RPing, and problem-solving as much as for combat and class-related skill use and story awards.

Here are XPs that reflect posting and RPing from the first session in Taverns.

I will also post this over in Taverns, in case you miss it here.

Please add these XPs to your PC sheets.

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

silly newbie question:

where should I have posted my character sheet. The only time I ever posted it was in a PM to DM Mike.  Is that all I need to do? How do I edit it?

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

No, if you want to view and edit your character sheet you should go and look at your description (by clicking on your portrait/name on one of your posts) beneath your description there are two options: edit description and view character sheet. When you click on view character sheet you will see it displayed beneath your character information screen and between them is the edit character sheet option.

It must also be one of your posts in Taverns as they haven´t been moved here jet.

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

Sorry to intrude on your wonderful game but I'm updating the Player Character Locator so if your an active player please raise your hand...or your mouse, nah you better just write a reply in this thread..I will be using the description you have posted when you click on your avatar, if there's none there I'll go into your character sheet, if I still no luck you'll be left blank(You don't want that do you?).

Thanks for your attention, you can now return to regularly scheduled programing.

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

TRAITS:

It's early enough in the campaign that I can add this with no trouble:

We RoA DMs are allowing PCs to add Traits from Unearthed Arcana.

You can pick 1 or 2 traits to add to your PC.

Adding them is optional, and you either do it NOW or never.

So, before we get into some combat and so on over in the adventure thread, pick a trait or two, add it to your PC sheet under Feats, then let me know here or in a private line in the adventure thread which trait(s) you took.    If I don't hear from you, I will assume you did not go for the Traits.

We will not be given PCs the chance to update after this first notice, and PCs can only take traits at PC creation time.

Here is a list of Traits and modifiers associated with them:

Traits: ("Unearthed Arcana")

Abrasive (+1 on Intimidate, -1 on Diplomacy and Bluff)
Absent-Minded (+1 on Knowledge, -1 on Listen and Spot)
Aggressive (+2 initiative, -1 Armor Class)
Brawler (+1 on unarmed attacks, -1 on weapon attacks)
Cautious (+1 on unarmed attacks, -1 on weapon attacks)
Detached (+1 on will saves, -1 on reflex saves)
Dishonest (+1 on Bluff, -2 on Diplomacy; non-lawfuls)
Easygoing (+1 on Gather Information, -1 on Intimidate and Sense Motive)
Farsighted (+1 on Spot, -1 on Search)
Focused (+1 on Concentration, -1 on Spot and Listen)
Hard of Hearing (+1 on Spot, -2 on Listen)
Hardy (+1 on fortitude saves, -1 on reflex saves)
Honest (+1 on Diplomacy, -1 on Bluff and Sense Motive; no chaotic-evils)
Musclebound (+1 on all strengh checks, -1 on all dexterity checks)
Nearsighted (+1 on Search, -1 on Spot)
Nightsighted (+10 feet on darkvision, -1 on Spot in bright light)
Passionate (+1 on fortitude saves, -1 on will saves)
Plucky (+1 on will saves, -1 on fortitude saves)
Polite (+1 on Diplomacy, -2 on Intimidate)
Quick (+10 feet on movement, -1 hp/level)
Reckless (+1 on melee damage, -1 on melee "to hit")
Relentless (+2 on saves vs. tiring; if fail, are exhausted)
Saddleborn (+1 on Ride, -1 on Handle Animal)
Skinny (+1 on Escape Artist, -2 to avoid being knocked over)
Slippery (+1 on escape artist checks against being grappled, -1 all other grapple checks.)

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

Low-level combat is just a little on the boring side. Nothing wrong with it other than that. ;)

Re: Dragon Coast: OOC Forum

low level combat is deadly!  one bad roll (or good roll from the DM) and it's all over....
